No, most people were commenting on what a hard time Hatton had with his last Welter Weight opponent... Sure, lots of people WANTED him to win; but few thought he actually would.

On the other hand, a Cotto Vs. Mayweather fight was the most sought after fight at the time.

he's way more predictable than hatton

    - bad defense
    - his body work against floyd woudl be worthless
    - too vulneratble to the upper cut

I think the fight would have ended in a decision but it would ahve been a less challenging fight for floyd

Cotto is the most overrated boxer in the last 10 years.

Take away the close decision win that could have went either way and Cotto has nobody special on his resume. Got a gift agaisnt Clottey. Got destroyed by Margarito and Pacquiao.

Looked like sh!t at 140. Maybe a Judah who hadnt fought a year but thats about it.

Hatton was probably a tougher physical fight for Floyd then T REx armed Cotto would have been. Cotto would try to box with Floyd and would have been outclassed from the start. Hatton looked game for atleast half of the fight.

The rotten vagina has showed up. And you call Cotto "T REx armed" but Cotto has longer arms than Pacquiao. Cotto being stunned twice at 140 doesn't equate to him looking like ****, in fact he looked great at 140 for the most part, even in the two fights he got hurt in against Torres and Corley, who shook up Floyd twice in their fight. And Cotto beat Mosley clearly despite what your ****** self says, the Clottey fight could have gone either way though, not a robbery though.

Cotto was nearly KO'd by Torres and Corley. But was also chased around the ring and in survival mode against Ngoudjo. Dropped 4 rounds to Malignaggi a guy with absolutely no power.

And no Cotto didnt beat Mosley clearly. It was a close fight that could have went either way. But that doesnt matter, the fact that Cotto was on his bike the last 3 rounds says it all. Oh and Clottey won the fight, a Top Rank christmas gift for Cotto so he could get spanked by Pacquiao.

Clottey landed the harder punches, landed more efficiently, and bossed the ring the entire fight. Cotto got a pure gift from Santa Arum.

Most overrated fighter of the decade. Typical of most of Top Ranks stable.

He had some struggles with NDOU but only dropped three rounds to him and same with Malignaggi.

Give me the seven rounds that Mosley could have won?....I bet you won't, and Cotto won round 11 and round 12 was a toss up.

Cotto got a 10-8 round in the first and won the last three rounds when Clottey shelled up as always so fight punch stats mean nothing when fights are judged by a round by round basis, fight punch stats don't get transfer from one round to the next.

    Judges scorecards 115-112, 116-111, 116-111.

Now watch what Hatton did to Malignaggi.

And actually it was NGOUDJO, and the judges scorecards

    117-111, 116-113, and 115-113

Clearly an overrated fighter who struggled against limited comp at 140

I havent scored it in awhile and dont feel like it. All I know is that Mosley had alot more in his tank in the end then Cotto.

No he didnt. Clottey clearly won the 11th. Threw 40+ punches, (apparently he didnt throw enough) :rofl and landed the same amount of punches. But anyone who watches the round can see Clottey is the one pressing the action and landing the cleaner shots.

However I wont even cite compubox anymore. Who was the aggressor? Clottey. Who landed the cleaner more effective blows? Clottey. Who had the better defense? Clottey.

    Christmas in June for Cotto.

Judges don't get the exact scoring right all the time and it was Lovemore Ndou, Malignaggi only won three rounds and all of those three rounds(5,6,9) could have swung Cotto's way. And Cotto inflicted wayyyyy more damage on Malignaggi than either Hatton or Khan did.

I knew this was going to be your response you coward. Its okay just admit Cotto beat Mosley clearly and then we can move on. Even Mosley admitted to Oscar that he lost the fight.

Its universally accepted that Cotto won rounds 11 and 12, so get over it. Here's my round by round of the Cotto/Clottey fight.

    Cotto rounds: 1,3,4,6,10,11,12.
    Clottey rounds: 2,5,7,8,9

 I cant believe you are even trying to argue this. The judges scores dont lie. In both fights.

I havent watched the fight since 2007. Dont care anymore. I remember scoring it 7-5 to Cotto with a few rounds indecisive. Again he still was the one on his bike in the end not the 36 year old Mosley.

Only morons universally except it. Watch the round you ****** ass *****. Clottey landed the harder punches and was the aggressor. THus Clottey round.

    Clottey rounds 2,5,6,7, 8, 9, 10,11
    Cotto rounds 1,3,4,12

cotto won 7 rounds :lol::lol::lol: biased moron.

Oh how could I ever think that boxing judges could get it wrong like you got it wrong that he fought Ngoudjo and not Ndou.

You cared enough to say it could have gone either way when nobody mentioned or indicated the scoring of that fight.

Then there's a lot of morons who accept that Cotto won that round.

That's your score and that's fine by me, but the fight wasn't a gift, it could have gone either way and in a fight that could have gone either way someone has to win 7 rounds you ****ing dick sucker.

Yep he was put on his bike and being bullied by Ndou, my mistake.

And? It could have gone either way. As most posters felt.

They listen to HBO commentary. "Clottey isnt throwing enough" When he threw 40+ punches in the round. Cotto is a popular fighter, nobody wants to admit he got a gift when he did. We can go over the round if you want.

    Yes it was.
No way Cotto won 7 rounds. Or even 6 for that matter. I guess running away getting hit in the face and punching gloves equals win to you?

Hatton wasn't a hard fight for Floyd. Cotto would've given Floyd a tougher fight imo because he could box.
