    :good

Against Monroe II Wlad was with Don Turner and it was a nice performance.

Unfortunaly Wladimir did not continue working with Turner or Brooks or Emanuel Steward from the beginning of his career. Sdunek nearly ruins him.

God bless he fires him out of his corner and since he works with Emanuel he becomes a much better und complete fighter.

My favorite might be the thompson fight, in recent years. That was a good, rough fight where Wlad let out more of his awesome arsenal than usual, where he just fights extremely reserved.

That fight even though Sultan has never fought again he leading up to it beat Briggs for the Belt then defended well against Holyfield i felt.

The Wlad just was awesome what a fight he schooled him.

I think his best was vs Peter. Peter was probably a better puncher than Wlad at the time and I think it was Wlad's first time showing better survival skills and pulled through adversity to comeback and almost stop Peter towards the end. Hands down that was Wlad's best performance. It proved he had improved as a fighter.

This. He was more vulnerable then but one of the more exciting HW's active at the time. Size, power, speed and aggressiveness.... then the Sanders fight happened and we now have a very dominant and technically good Wlad but a very gun shy and in a lot of his recent fights, extremely boring to watch Wlad. I think he gets a lot of stick for how cautious he is because of the people he is cautious with too. I mean what was he scared of against Ibragimov and a shot Rahman? he was superior in every way.

Could you imagine the lashing Lewis would have got if he fought like that against a fighter of Iggy's ability during his prime?

Axel Schulz was the best. He dominated the guy and a lot of people thought Schulz had too much experience for the guy. That really was the begining of the dominant use of a jab on a round by round basis.

Another good one not mentioned is the Wolfgramm fight. ended that guys career and most people for some reason were buying into him as the better prospect of the 2. Brutal ko.

Calvin Brock just had the KO of the year against Zuri Lawrence...........so yes, he was a dangerous fighter with skills & knockout power.

Brock was a good fighter and he gave Klitschko trouble for a few rounds, its a pity he had to retire because of injurys.

Agreed. He'd still be a top5-10 fighter at Heavy. He beat Timur Ibragimov (not Sultan) fairly easily and Timur is a good all around boxer himself. That fight was boring but it did showcase their boxing abilities.
