If Paul Williams wants to be a superstar, why doesn't he hype his fights?

This guy wants to become a PPV fighter & wants the megafights, but this guy doesn't even attempt to hype his own fights. To become a draw, it's important to grind as much outside the ring as you do in the gym, especially in this inactivity era of only fighting once or twice a year. You wouldn't even know he has a fight coming up. Guys like Williams & Berto don't do ANYTHING outside the ring to hype their fight, but are the biggest complainers.

He never will be. He does try to hype his fights up but is just as bad at that as he is at boxing.

For a while he rode the whole most feared fighter wave but people are starting to see that he really is not feared. He is just not a big attraction so they chose not to face him since he keeps moving around weight classes. Also fans have noticed that when he does get called out he turns it down for whatever reason.

You remember back in the wwf when they use to have managers that do the talking to get their guy over? Thats what he needs. Where is Jimmy Hart at? Mr. Peterson tries at times in his interviews, but he simply cant get the job done.

that wont make him a superstar. The only way a "fist doing the talking" type of guy can become a star is if he's knocking people out. Tall Williams isnt koing anyone. He just throws punches hoping something will happen.

He never should have moved up in weight. That sort of gave potential big opponents "an out" in facing him. If he would have stayed at 147, eventually his name would have to have been thrown in the mix with Floyd and Pacman and Cotto.

    He should date Josie Harris.

Floyd would definitely help him become more popular.

Paul Williams would make a good journeyman/gatekeeper for young, developing Eurotalents.
