If Paul Williams wants to be a superstar, why doesn't he hype his fights?

He comes to fight. Everyone on here can talk all that ****, but any true boxing fan is going to be tuned in to see what will happen next.


Martinez is a great fighter, and everyone, including Paul, knows that he will be a tough draw. Doubt anyone will give him any resect if he actually goes in there and wins the goddamn fight (again).

You need a certain level of charisma to make it to super stardom. Williams charisma level is in the Mosley level. In the absense of charisma, you need to have entertaining fights against top guys. His fan friendly style will keep him popular, but it's doubtful Williams ever makes it to super star level.

 

People need to stop hating on PW. He can give anyone from 147 and dare I say 168 all they can handle.

 

I don't care what anyone says I think the man has charisma I like the fact that he is laid back and treats his opponents with respect.
