I'm not sure he qualifies for this thread...
But a favorite of mine during the 90's was Oba Carr.
(Granted he became a Champ, But I always expected more)

He always seemed to come up short in his high profile fights.

Joan Guzman. I know he has won a few titles but I really thought if he applied himself to the sport he would be up there with the top P4P guys.

Pavlik. 32:0 with 29 KO's, beat the man who beat Hopkins...really thought he would become a middleweight great.

I see where ya' going with this....But a "Major Bust?" That's kinda' harsh.

Yeah, I can see this. Losing to fighters like Mayorga and Mora...DAMN!!! Especially after the way he handled Mosley.

Jacobs still has time to be something though.

Michael Nunn was NOT a Major Bust!!!

Damn good call on this one. But there have been so many fighters from Colombia that come to the US with these Inflated-Ass records, and as soon as they step-up in class....they get BLASTED!!!!

I though David Reid was gonna to be a bigger force than he was. I think his eye had something to do with his limitations.
