i dont know about that.....a bigger name than baldo and Judah....maybe Baldo but def not Judah......But i do remember all the fukkin hype Baldo had gotten with his streak it was classic rags to richest story at the time. Plus at the time there were plenty who said the same stuff about he wont fight Baldo he's to scared...etc etc...the typical stuff.

His first fight with Shambra prolly was a tune up fight to get used to the weight i think you would agree with that. Not to say Mitchell fight holds any weight but it had to be just a tune up for the division. Not too many fighters jumping weight going after the hard hitters first. you agree?

Then you said Castillo scared his socks off after the first fight but yet he got an immediate rematch...doesnt sound like Floyd was all that scared...if so he would have just left the first fight as it was....a Win.

In fairness though the absolute ONLY time i felt Margo should have been a fight for Floyd was when he beat Cotto like a drum.

And he was gonna duck him again if it wasn't for that earthquake. He's lucky Mosley was already shot by the time he HAD to fight him.

There is only so much you are able to do properly when faced with a more talented opponent & Mayweather is the most talented fighter in the world right now, probably the most talented since Whitaker tbh + he`s kicking your ass while your trying to out-think him, makes it that much harder.

Margarito is the same level as Cotto. they get a + because they both got passed the Black Cat Clottey. Barely

Mosley is diffrent 147 pound all time great point blank period.
Robbed against the new star cotto
Took on a mountain of winky wright who was just too damn big
same with Mora mosley looked like a midget in that ring with him
Took on forrest even tho he knew Vern had his number because he beat him before
    Mosley is a legend
    edit

I never was a believer in cotto by the way. He got hit to easily too Often and his only performances that impressed me was against gomez and I said wow this guy is about to become n Elite. He came in against Margo same style looked ****ing great but got tired trying to be Miguel Mayweather and the bricks did the rest of the work. He aint even **** no moe and he was on his way to being complete. Ball Bounces that way.

Margarito never ever ever been a believer in him Mosley desroyed him and settled that not to mention clottey had to break his hand for creeto to win

    I liek cotto never Concreto
But I really hope concrete prove me wrong and beats pac Becuz when floyd beats pac he beat another small man and pac really wont that good at the weight blah blah blah
He beats Bricklayer and he beat a true ww and honestly I prefer him fighting Margo pac is too damn small Great as he is Mayweather uses all his tools height reach footwork.

You know?! So Floyd HAD to fight Mosley, but somehow he doesn't HAVE to fight Dapidran. How does that work? :huh

Someone did adjust to him, and outfight him over 12 rounds.

    From Compubox online:

4/20/02 W 12 JOSE LUIS CASTILLO (controversial decision, as 5-1 favorite Mayweather outlanded 203-158 by Castillo, who threw 506 total punches to 449 for Floyd (37 per round). Castillo landed 173 of 377 (46%) power shots to just 67 of 152 (44%) for Floyd. After outlanding Castillo 48-27 in first 4 rounds (swept rounds on all cards), Mayweather was outlanded in every round after, including 26-11 in round 7, 35-20 in round 11. Castillo also had edge in power connects in every round. Scoring: 115-111 M; 115-111 M; 116-111 M. Less than 1,000 seats sold.)

not a defense for mayweather but can you show the numbers by the rounds because mayweather took 7 of them.

anyhow mayweather isnt the same fighter he went blow for blow not his M.O. anymoe (until you get tired) funny because the past few fights people have been adjusn to a mayweather they watched 12 years ago.
The blueprint to beating mayweather hu, then they get in the ring its a diffrent fighter lol

Simply put pretty much the same fighters Floyd has dominated Manny has annihilated with the exception of JMM, whom Manny fought at 130. Mosley was the first good fighter Floyd had fought in a long time, but a fighter that would gas by midfight. Floyd looks great against limited opposition and not until he fights Pacman, Martinez, or Williams is he going to get any real recognition. But he doesn't care what you or I or his fans think.
