First AA claimed he was going for the KO. After he got DQed and Sauerland cued him from ringside to accuse Dirrell of acting, he claimed he was not a big punch.

    Dirrell was acting

Froch is a ***** who bitched out of the AA fight and he talks way too much.

I hope AA knocks this ugly Brit out.

I was never a big AA fan to begin with. And I'm known as not being the biggest Froch fan either (I dislike him more). I'm sort of conflicted, as I had plans on betting on AA.

I was shocked when I saw the press-conference where they him and Sauderland both repeatedly said Dirrell was a fake and actor. That was shocking in and of it self considering all the news about Dirrell's injury at the time. I mean, nobodies question whether Kessler is faking it. Why would they, though. No real reason to... maybe there's more suspicion behind Dirrell but that doesn't make that talk legitimate. It's just pretty classless.

Froch could be talking out of his ass, but he said something along the lines of AA being proud about sending him to the hospital and such. Like I heard him bragging about it... I don't know.

    You're better than this Jack.

The bold is false. Abraham definitely got some extension from his hips. He cocked back for christ sake. Dirrell is on his knees and not seeing the punch. I imagine taking a punch when you have legs with you as far more difficult to do when you're on the ground. We've seen these type of KO's before, and we've seen opponents take better punches when they were on their feet. Lastly, Abraham was aiming downward. Punchers always say punching at a tall high target takes steam of their shots. Punching downward gives you an extra force.

It's really despicable Jack. AA is probably in denial about what he did and a lot of people get defensive when they've done something and have trouble believing or accepting it. It's a natural reaction, but he should've wised up at this point.

Haye was not hit with a similar shot. I'm pretty sure that shot grazed him. And Barrett isn't the same puncher. Let's be real, it's not like Roy Jones Jr hit Griffin that hard. Griffin took more on his feet. AA cleanly clocked a defenseless fighter right in the perfect spot. You just don't know your power in that circumstance. Dirrell is an oscar-worthy actor. The crying, the theatrics... damn he's ****ing great.

This is qutie sad when you have pro fighters saying bull**** like this...AA really should just be quiet and stop acting like he did something spectacular...He had his chance to KO Dirrell and got his ass handed to him in the process...then he has the audacity to say a man is faking when he hit him while defenseless.

Its quite sad listening to these clowns on here blaming Dirrell for so called faking an illegal blow...I would love for one of you ass holes to get hit by a pretty solid puncher while defenseless...I wanna see how tough you so called tough guys are!:-(

This is ****ing pathetic some of the things that are said on here!:verysad

Same. at people trying to break down how hard the punch is etc, the point is it doesn't take very hard of a punch at all to injure or knockout a defenseless person. It actually makes me wonder if anyone here calling him a fake has ever gotten tagged before by surprise, that **** is no joke.

    Agreed

And let's be honest. There's no legitimate reason for believing he was faking. Name one thing he did that's never happened from a KO. I've had a head injury before and when I came out of unconsciousness I was pretty damn disoriented. Now, I wasn't as hysterical as Dirrell was but I still thought I was dreaming and got a pretty good immediate message when I saw EMT's right in front of my face.

Exactly, Hell, it kinda hurts when you see it coming while standing...So I'm still raking my brain as to why so many people think he's faking it...I swear man, I've yet to figure it out!

He got punched in the face. he fell to his back. His legs started twitching. His corner tries to revive him. He gets up eventually and isn't making a whit of sense. Where is the faking? You realize how ridiculous it is to ASSUME that he took a dive, that he was cognizant enough after slipping to his knees and getting punched in the face that he actually thought "oh, i'm going to exploit this rule in the MSAC's boxing section 1.1 and procure a win via foul by DQ!" Can you concoct a strategy like that in the championship rounds with the biggest puncher in your division(who has been landing)?

Could you do that in the middle of a fight? Do you think about these things when you slip and get punched in the face? Does that make any sense at all to you?

    Great point Pete!

Thats the thing though with some and judgeing by some of the responses on here from some posters...You can honestly tell they havent been in a fight or got hit a day in their life...Everybody has a different reaction to head injury...So just because a person do or do not act a certain way doesnt mean they're faking!

Is that the best you can come up with...I''m sorry but thats not gonna cut dude...The burden of proof is on you since you're disregarding facts...You're the one who's saying Dirrell is faking when he's clearly states the opposite.

So why dont you prove it instead of coming up with this!:-(

What burden of proof?? I tell it as I see it. He FAKED IT. That's what the video shows, a grazing punch and Dirrell working his way to the Oscar's.
