freddie roach - all his fighters throw crisp punches, have great technique on shots

ronnie shields - combinations, lateral movement and jab

Manny Steward - great jabs and footwork

Nazim Richardson - master tactician, doesn't focus too much on technique but tries to get his fighters to win the fights using the tools they have

i wish david haye would hire roach or shields

Manny Steward is Mr Fundamentals. He will strip a fighter down and rebuild him into his type of fighter. He likes fighters to keep everything long and off of a jab.

Roach likes to drill fighters over and over different combinations, punches and movements.

Naazim is a tactically aware and a man who presents the blueprint for war and really bases a lot around the basics and doing them right.

nah, i've seen roger coaching amateurs and some lesser known pros

he's mostly about fundamentals, hands up, lateral movements, punch technique, i think its only floyd he trains different.

Emanuel Steward - getting fighters to fight tall, good jab and right hand. Low lead hand.

Nazim Richardson - making sure the fighters are drilled to offset the opponent's strong points using what they have.

Freddie Roach - ironing out flaws and fighting to a plan. Oh, and being a twat.

24/7 have ****ed with roach and floyd sr's heads

before 24/7 roach was a quiet guy and floyd sr although was pretty arrogant he was nothing like he is now.

I don't see the fuss about Floyd sr either.

He got a lot of publicity for his work with DLH, but other than the win over Vargas there isn't a great deal of note, especially given that he took Oscar's left hook away to a large degree.

Sure, he looks great on the pads but doesn't offer particularly clever tactics or good instructions in the corner.

Roger is easily a better trainer.

Put a microphone in front of someone and they're going to be louder.

I don't think Roach is as much of a twat as I thought he was, he just talks a lot and is a bit melodramatic.

floyd sr is decent, but there's a reason why floyd jr still picks roger and even jeff over him.

Buddy is class- very under-rated. If he had the right fighter think he'd do well again.

    ^^^

    That's the problem.

He's had Paulie against Cotto and Hatton, basically two blokes that he wouldn't beat with a baseball bat, regardless of the advice McGirt did or didn't give it wouldn't have mattered.
