tyson wouldnt stand a chance in an mma fight he would admit that himself. Cain would batter him into oblivion as soon as tyson steps in to throw a punch hed be down on his back and gettin smashed in the face till ref stopped it. no amount of boxing footwork would help him in mma its completely different. As for boxing tyson would smash any mma fighter ever in a boxing match without a doubt. tyson is 1 of my all time favourite fighters but then i can see what would happen. as could any1 else that actually understands both sports.
Boxing hands down goes to Tyson for obvious reasons, but MMA is a different sport all together so I would have to go with the MMA fighter Cain. Now in a no holds barred kind of match I think I would lean more towards Tyson because that's my boy, but because of Cain all around skills it could go either way.
tyson was short, with a low center of gravity, giving him excellent balance and leverage. he was also incredibly strong. these would neutralize valasquez's wrestling ability, and allow tyson to keep it more of a brawling affair, in which he almost certainly wins.
Just before the fight the other night I read an article that said Lesnar will be a Champion for years to come. MMA "Champions" come in with weak records and are a dime a dozen. It's the sport of hyperbole where even a guy with a beer gut can rule the Light Heavyweights. Edit: Give Prime Tyson a year's worth of training and he tears MMA apart.
Toney was 10 years outa his prime and 55 pounds over his ideal weight in that fight and wasn't even a top 20 ranked heavyweight, he hasn'r been relevant in boxing for a long ass time. You can't even compare that to what a PRIME Mike Tyson could do. A prime Tyson would KO anyone in MMA history in an MMA fight. His speed footwork and obviously devastating power would crush any figther in MMA history.

This thread is a little ridiculous but **** it. Obviously Tyson rapes him in boxing. But in mma, if tyson trained properly, I only see tyson losing by some stupid ass choke, after lame ass wresting for a round. If the stupid wrestling, jujistu choke **** doesnt happen, tyson would eventually get a ko. Tyson was deff the more superior all around athlete of the two for sure. And before any mma fanboys (key word BOYS, mma is mainly for over agressive, but ***** white boys aged 17-35 or some **** anyway) try to correct me, Tyson only wins the mma fight, if he took it seriously and trained adequately for at least 5/6 months at it, because Cain seems to be pretty good.
