I couldn't agree more. This guy is actually trying to argue Margo as a bigger name than Baldo who had the upset of the year a huge KO win over Gatti another big name all the while being the champ of the division, WW I might add one of the most prestigious weightclasses in boxing. ****ing desperate argument at best.

You just think you can make up **** as you go along and get away with it. The linear champ means you're number 1 in the division the man who beat the man, the champ. Your opinion of who's the best is irrelevant the fact is Baldo was the champ and that carries weight. Everyone in the division wants a peice of him and wants to be in his position.

..............Probably because the elite fighters of yester year are 5 years or so years older than Floyd, and are considered past their best, now because of the drop in popularity, the exodus of so many elite fighters who have been at the top of the sport for the last 10 or 15 years, there is no fighter from the next generation who has established elite level talent to beat a Mayweather, also, Mayweather seems unwilling to fight anyone! he perceives to have a stylistic advantage over him, I mean, can you imagine Mayweather ever getting int the ring with a prime Forrest, Winky?

Winky he wins easily. The one handed Winky with no power seriously is no threat to Floyd and Floyd even said he wanted to fight him while Winky was overpricing himself for big fights. Forrest is definitely a different story though. That would've been a difficult fight for Floyd who wouldn't have been able to KO him .

I feel just the opposite. I think PBF handles Forrest better but loses to Winky. Great jab great defense and underrated toughness.

People can go on and on about his cherry picking. And i will be honest and say he does this, but then i agree that Roach also does it for Pac and many other fighters do in this era, so its hardly just him doing it.

Having said that 41 and 0 is an amazing record. Lets not forget every opponent came to win and they have all failed. And some of these opponents are good fighters.

    Anyway.......

Put simply no one has been effective because Floyd can fight using any style (back foot, front foot, side ways, In the pocket and many more. People dont really realise how many different boxing styles he has. Plus he can throw almost any punch with either hand and generate reasonable power (not a lot of boxers can do this)

Combined with his freakish skills he also has one of the sharpest boxing brains ever. You catch him once and hurt him and you will find it hard to catch him again with the same punch because he will start setting traps to make you try the same punch. And he does not need to be told by his corner what to do in between rounds because he knows why the punch got through, and what he needs to do to not let it happen again.

Put simply the reason no one has beat him is because mayweather and him team have the knowledge to make a game plan to win against any opponent, And with his vast skills he can carry them out and fight in the best style to beat that opponent.

Put simply its because Mayweather can change his stlye and gameplan very quickly to become any opponents kryptonite. So if someone does adapt to his style, he will simply change it.

Winky was a career JMW though.

Floyd is probably just now at a point/size where he could really compete with anyone at that weight. Does current Floyd beat prime Winky? Tough to say and not that relevant since Floyd is not really considered "prime" anymore.

Forrest is a more valid debate since he was prime at WW.

Forrest was too big and lanky. He would've jabbed and thrown his overhand right which is the worst punch Floyd has problems with. See Shane and Marquez fights. Those are the only punches those 2 landed. Oscar had a little sucess with it as well. With Winky he mostly uses his jab. Floyd would be too much of a moving target and had hand speed to counter Winky . I feel Winky would have to open up more from his trademark block, jab, block, jab, block, block jab schtick. Floyds a more dynamic defensive fighter while Winky is more like Clottey. A stationary defensive fighter . It would be a boring chess match that I think Floyd would get the UD.

He's ducked everyone he ends up fighting . He was even criticised for ducking Baldomir. Come up with some new material please . He'll eventually get to Pacquiao and people like you will say he's ducking Berto or some bull****.:-(

I agree with most of the post, essentially the first part, but not the bolded.

It sounds like your saying that no fighter is capable of beating him, simply because of his ability to adapt, when I would say, it does not matter how good you think you are at adapting, you cant always calculate what the opponent is going to do, which is probably why upsets happen in Boxing, now if you also have intangibles in height and reach etc, and know how to use them effectively, whether you know what! you need to do to adapt or not, it can still be extremely hard to do against the wrong opponent, now all I would say there, is that in my own opinion, Mayweather is yet to step in the ring with what I'd consider an elite fighter in their prime, now I guess some Floyd fans would argue that Corrales was elite, Castillo was elite, but to be honest, I never thought either of those guys were elite, elite to me, is Jones, Hopkins, Mayweather, Holyfield, DLH, Tyson, Lewis, Toney, Mosley, Whitaker, Chavez, Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Duran, neither Corrales or Castillo fit into that mix IMO!
