I understand that people have major reservations over Khan in general and that he seems to be one of those boxers that has real fan boys and die hard haters. I'm just wondering how those who hate him will react if he beats Maidana. If he wins on points by jabbing will they say, "he's still ****, he ran" or if he KOs Maidana round one will they say, "didn't have time to get tested." I don't really care if he loses or not. I'm just interested to hear how people will rate him if he wins. Because I get the impression that even if he was fighting Pacquiao and Mayweather that he would still get ****.
Khan will aways get ****. You'll always have haters such as NoHomeJerome, but you just gotta live with it. Without criticisers, it would be boring and fighters wouldn't have any drive to prove the doubters wrong if there weren't any.
I don't like the kid nor do I rate him much. If he wins? He deserves props no doubt about it, people have said he should face a young, game puncher and he is doing it. He did well to come back from a KO loss like that, all the best fighters lose and come back stronger. We will see. If he proves himself I will respect him but I just don't like him or his style much and probably never will.
Yeah, it seems like his main motivation for taking the fight was to shut people up! Should be a good fight
Didn't you bet NoHomeJerome if the Khan/Maidana fight happens that he has to leave ESB permanently. (Obviously he's just going to create a new username but none the less)
Yes that is true as he could have vacated. But that would have made him look a *****. Maidana has been his mandatory for a while, he got paid to step aside so Khan could fight feather fisted Malignaggi.
Just like every other title holder in the world... i'm sure that is not the sole reason for taking the fight.
He refuses to leave. He doesn't think I honoured the bet and so to him 'the bet is void' Sad sad person :-(, but doesn't bother me. The satisfaction of proving a Khan hater wrong does me enough.
