He still would of been considered far greater because he overcame adversity and a loss and came back stronger (despite quite a few people think he lost the first fight anyway)

Market value? Do we judge fighters on market value? No fighter is remembered for earning money, just look at the hightest earners such as Tyson, DLH, Holyfield or Lewis. Legacy is the talking point when we talk about past fighters, not what they earned and they all lost fights.

By all around inferior to Mayweather then yes Cotto had a better style for Mosley.

He fought a Vargas who had already been KO'd twice by DLH and Trinidad. He didnt look particularly good either like you said.

Also basically when Mosley had fought Cotto he hadnt fought anyone in 10 months. Not exactly active.

Mosley was what 36 when he fought Cotto. Cotto was 27. A bigger difference in age then when Mayweather fought Mosley aswell.

He was the weakest champion at the time and Hatton jumped up for the paper title and still struggled immensly, because he was not a welterweight and knew he wasn't because he vacated and went straight back down.

If you are arguing who fought the better version of Mosley. After Cotto Mosley knocked out Mayorga and destroyed Margarito. After Mayweather Mosley drew against .. Sergio Mora. Not suprising considering he is 39.

Sergio Mora is better then Margarito and Mayorga. He's a middleweight who couldnt even make the super welterweight limit.

Sergio Mora for instance would most likely beat Cotto. I'd favor him certainly.

On what do you claim Sergio Mora being better than Margarito and Mayorga, are you being serious or trolling? I am starting to wonder now.

A weak "champion", untill he proves otherwise.

Absolutely, Win/Lose Mayweather Jr's (Long term) Legacy would have defo looked (On Paper) 100% better had he fought Margarito/Cotto/Pacquiao ect...

Look at Jones Jr. for instance, I bet he wish's he could be in his 20's/Early 30's again.
(People always look back at ask "What if")

IT's self explanatory but I'll simplify it for you.

Floyd's main claim to fame is being undefeated(main reason he's been fearfull of taking the tough fights) IF that went so would a lot of the mystique!

By better style I mean that the way he fought played more into Shane's hands. Yes Mosley had quite abit of time off before facing Cotto(around 9 months) but that's less time than he had before facing Mayweather(around 16 months). Mosley/Cotto was also the better fight imo too. Yes Arum does "keep it in the house" but Mayweather never really showed an "urge" to fight Pacquiao. Instead he takes a vacation just like he did not too long after Cotto beat Shane and also with Floyd coming off his victory over Hatton. Pretty fishy I admit as a fan of the fighter. Not keeping Pacquiao out of fault as I think two egos clashed and the sad part is that we fans lose out.

Jones still beat Hill, Griffin, Tarver, Toney, and Hopkins. I agree he could've fought more names but the names I listed are certainly no "pushovers".
