no question about khan becoming a big star. he will. the question is will become an ATG.

he is just like juan ma to me. very fast. very strong but he will be tested. his chin is not really that impressive isn't it.

My point was those were BIG EVENTS. And SSM, we knew would get OUTBOXED, given his history with fighters that box better than he does. But, few people expected Floyd to not only out muscle SSM, but, take his best shots and NOT FALL. Not only that, he showed a different dimension to his game that few knew he even had. That fight served to answer more questions about Floyd, than anything else. And whether people want to argue about SSM's age or not...he was the TOP WW, at that time...and ranked #3 P4P. It just is what it is.

JMM...again...more about Floyd than anything else. He comes back after 2 YEARS of inactivity and holds one of the most accurate punchers and greatest technicians today, to only 12 % of 500+ punches thrown. Who does that, man? I won't debate about the issues surrounding the weight. I agree...Floyd should've honored the weight. But, he did everything by the rules. So, technically, he committed no wrong. It was more of a moral issue that people have with that. JMM was paid a King's Ransom for that 2 lb infraction, and the fight was contracted at 147, once they agreed to ammend it.

Hatton was hyped...yes we all know. But, that was a good win, whether people want to admit it or not. And it was a good fight to make.

I see Khan being similar to ODLH. He'll become the biggest star in boxing but comes up short in the important fights. That chin is too much of a liability.

Khan won't ever have a good chin.

It's simple: Mayweather's that much better than everyone else.

For all we know, Kostya Tszyu, Paul Williams, Antonio Margarito, Miguel Cotto, a younger version of Shane Mosley, and Manny Pacquiao could all have adjusted to Floyd and beat him...

...but Floyd lost 'the urge' whenever these fights were possible (until Shane was nearing 40 and rustier than Saul Alvarez's hair).

Jose Luis Castillo did it first time out, then Floyd's mobility (ie running) was too tricky for him in the return. Perhaps Tszyu, Williams, Margarito, Cotto, a younger Mosley, and/or Pacquiao could have done even better.

We'll never know though. Because that's the fighter that Floyd is.

None of those fighters are known to adjust to anyone.

Zoo was with Showtime, not Floyds fault, beat the guy who beat him.

Antonio Margarito pulled out of a fight with Floyd.

And a younger version of Shane Mosley straight up turned down several offers.

So how were these not Floyd having the urge?

Floyd Mayweather was 24 years old, moving up the first time at 135 against a fighter who outweighed him by 10lbs. He also had a torn rotator cuff.

For comparison Manny fought David Diaz at 135. Mayweather fought the best lightweight of the decade, twice.

Mayweather fought the same way in the 1st fight as the 2nd he just wasnt injured.

You obviously need to watch more boxing.

41-0 18-0 against world champions. Yep thats the type of fighter Floyd is.

Because Void refuses to fight Pac and some others as well. However, he does beat up women and chased a small child!

According to published reports, Bacosa sued Pacquiao for over $5 million in child support, saying that he had not provided financial support after she gave birth. Pacquiao had allegedly had given her money during her pregnancy, when, according to Bacosa he continued to see her. In her complaint she alleged that the Filipino hero had threatened to kidnap the boy when he discovered her intention to sue him for child support.
