WTF! .. who was the promoter of this show?

I thought it a bit suss nothing on boxrec but thought perhaps because its going on fox they didnt want to spoil the result and put it on boxrec, similar to what they did with the contender but now Tillman has shed some light on the matter it would appear he has been scammed.

A kickboxing fight with no kicks WTF lol ive heard of kickboxing fights with no elbows, no knees but no kicks is unheard of, you sir got shafted royally, i would thank my lucky stars its not going down on your boxing record as a NC

Did you not see any Australian Boxing Officals walkin around with the AUS boxing logo? I rekon i would have got a bit suss when all the officals walking around had martial arts logos etc.

 

There were no Aussie boxing officials I found out later...The promoter was EFG Penrith

 

Very intrersting, looks like EFG Penrith make up their own rules. Im sorry this has happen to you, its not usually this way in Australia, at worst you may get a dud decision or premature stoppage but it shouldnt become a circus tent type fight. We have rules and regulations to prevent a return of those days, it would appear EFG dnt give a sht about the law or rules.

None of these boxers can be found on boxrec, there is no record of any show in aussie featuring any of these boxers on the 16th nor 17th nor 15th of July. Now im assuming you fought on the 8th of October?

As you can see on the top of the poster it says, boxing, MMA, Kickboxing.
I think these guys have a case to answer for false advertising and in breach of the sports and combat legislation. I would file a complaint with the Sports Commission of Australia if i was in your shoes, you have been scammed and its not the first time these guys have done it, not to mention they are pulling the wool over the paying publics eyes and casting a dark shadow on boxing.

I am suprized Anton from boxrec and ABF isnt all over these guys like a rash, you can see from their website that this isnt the first time they have pulled this bull.

great ideas for aussie boxing are being with held because of distrust. there are so many slimy ****s in oz boxing, it is holding the sport back.

imagine a tv station wanted a new tv ringside...? can you imagine the backstabbing, the ****, etc that would create!!!!???

Lets be completely honest here. Aussie boxing is a bit of a farce really. The standard of fighters, the complete miss matches, the pathetic incompetent blind referees, the cringe worthy commentators, the average fans who think a guy like Danny Green is world class. ****in hell i'm getting depressed writing this post.

Sally, only last year HD1 attempted to get the fights on tv.. FOR FREE. Look what happened there.

When teams (gyms) are running their own promotions, what else can we expect. It's been like this for close to 35 years. The ANBF hand out National title belts. Nothing more than sanction a National title fight and hand out belts to the winner.
The State branches do little else. Martial Arts and Combat Sports Authorities are a poor mans WBF.
