Best/worst trash talkers in boxing

Best? Taurus Sykes. Sorry, but he pwns all when it comes to trash talking.

Worst? Well Haye is awful. Not remotely funny or inventive. Basically he's a jackass. Toney too, difference is Toney occasionally has moments of inspiration.

 

Haye is rubbish at trash talking, and I think he believes he is actually pretty good.

The build up to the Valuev fight in particular was cringe-worthy. The stuff with him punching the cardboard cutout, and the guy wearing the mask they had coming out, and Haye there mumbling a few words, god awful.

 

The guy is totally classless but I absolutely loved his comments about De La Hoya's wife.

As for the worst, has to be Floyd Mayweather Jr for me, a horrible little twat with the charisma of a plank of wood.

 

Agreed. Floyd is awful. Just fake.

 

Mayweather is so bad it's hard to tell if he is trash talking or just a bit ******ed.

 

I'd love to see Roger Mayweather and James Toney talk to each other not even **** talk just talk

I agree. Haye should be put in the same bracket as Floyd when it comes to trash-talking.

 

Tyson Fury is good value.

I recall him saying he likes to get the pre-fight mental edge over his opponent, terrify them even before the bell rings -- just like his namesake
