Miguel Acosta is one of the most underrated/unknown fighters out there. He's the WBA Lightweight Champion and has taken the undefeated records of Urbano Antillion and Paulus Moses. He has bounced back from some early setbacks and has become one of the most exciting and hard hitting fighters at the weight. At 32 time isnt on his side so get behind this vicious Venazualen guys!

Personally, I think he could give both fits. He hits hard enough to discourage Katsidis a bit and is rangy and quick enough to give JMM problems.

Sorry for the late update guys. Acosta had a stay busy fight on Thursday against Armando Cordoba and won by 1st round KO, his title wasnt on the line. Pretty surprising that he KO'ed the guy straight away even though he wanted to get some rounds in. Maybe he'll actually be able to get another good fight now, gotta stay busy after the Antillion and Moses fights. Jorge Linares was in attendance, it's looking like a fight between them is possible.

Heres a vid of poor quality. Acosta's in white.

Great right hand by Acosta. Could've done with some more rounds though.

Yep, the point was that he hadn't fought in a good while and wanted to get some rounds in before a possible fight with Linares. Turns out it's Rios.

Very hard man to beat. Him vs. Soto would be quitaa match-up. Wouldn't be a crowd-pleaser but how about battling out the 'most underrated LW' title between him and Miguel Vazquez?

IMO if he beats Rios it will open doors and I think he will.

That's what I'm hoping for. I thought taking Adjaho's unbeaten record in the US would have opened some doors for him but he's still been fighting pretty much in obscurity the last few years.

There he is systematically breaking apart 25-0 Urbano Antillon. The fight after he KO'd 25-0 Paulus Moses in the 6th round. He also handed 23-0 Anges Adjaho his first loss. After a stay-busy murder of some bum he's now gonna brutally KO 26-0 Rios.

    CHOO CHOO!!!!!!!!!!
