I'm not a Pac fan by any stretch.... But he gets props if he beats Margarito.

Do I really need to point out the many ways in which Manny Pacquiao is vastly superior to Cintron...?

 

At first I swore I wouldn't support this fight in any way shape or form. As it gets closer, it's starting to grab my attention. I'm still not giving Arum $50, but a $15 seat in my local movie theatre might not be a bad idea.

 

this is a **** fight. as a boxing fan i'd be foolish not to watch it.

what makes it even worse is i have to root for the favourite. usually i love a good upset, but in this case i would hate it.

margo has not done enough to fight for a vacant belt let alone the p4p number 1

Even if Margarito isn't as good as he was at his best, he's still a big and strong guy that will pose a problem for the entire fight.

I don't see Margo not throwing any shots like DLH did, even if he's constantly nailed left and right + I really doubt that Pacquiao will really hurt him at all...

The size, the strength and the acitivity level will be a real challenge for Pacquiao, no matter what anyone says...

well too much you didnt say, but you said pose problems the entire night. he didnt pose mosley problems for 3 rounds. pac is a lot better than mosley.

margo is gone to the world. this fight will just be another kayo loss. people will rightfully say he is shot and damaged, because he is.

My only beef with this fight is that Margorito hasnt done jack **** to be in the ring with Manny in the first place...Getting your ass beatin into submission, getting exposed a fraudulent athlete by doing the most pathetic thing a fighter could do (loading his gloves:verysad) and coming back 2 only look very average against a journeyman doesnt exactly warrant you a mega showdown with the p4p fighter in the sport today.

And I think many sports fans should speak up on this and not just ignore it...You can cheat and\or attempt to cheat and still get rewarded a mega fights needs to be addressed.

Other than that, this is an OK match up IMO...The skill level between the two is outstanding...Pacman is leagues ahead Margorito in terms of skills...I just dont see how Margorito is going to negate Pac's speed...He gets hit WAY too much and we dont know how he's gonna deal with those shots.

 

why the fuc. should manny get credit for beating margarito, more then beating cotto, Oscar, or hatton?

Margarito hasn't done crap. look for a one sided beatdown. biggest difference in this fight is the hand and foot speed. manny will be popping margarito and then jumping back out. Besides, Manny almost welcomes people pinning him on the ropes, cause then he can counter punch. He'll certainly counterpunch him better then cotto did based on his faster hands.
