Watching it live must have been awesome! Because Maidana was landing some hellacious shots on Ortiz. I remember at the time I was thinking "Damn. If Khan was on the end of those, his head would have been in row Z". Like you say, those assaults were extremely vicious.
best fight I have ever seen live. Here's my luck. I go to see James Toney and miss his fight(before the super 6 main event eliminator) then I go watch vazaquez marquez 4, quick stoppage, but then I see maidana vs Ortiz and am blown away..... most recently I went to williams cintron live, and you know how that turned out. But I seriously think Maidana is the only fighter who punched so hard you felt bad for his opponent. it was literally that loud.
as humans we cant do that. if bradley struggles past alexander, and khan blitzes maidana, i imagine most would favour him in a fight vs bradley. it nwould be the smart thing to do.
I remember when Alexander first took the WBC belt from Junior Witter. From then on I knew he would be a major player in the division. Man, look how happy he is in the interview: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtUq3sy1Qes[/ame] rofl)
Look at him there, all emotional and happy, the *******. Why does he visit his dad's grave? Your dads gone Devon! He's been consumed by insects at this stage and because there is no religion you'll never see him again and you're also a ***** for forcing it down our throats! (joking, obviously)
Maidana "I want to thank god for getting me this far. I'd also like to say, **** LukeO, the ****. If he comes to my fight again, I'll knock the **** out of that wanker"
You want to bring back up? Fine with me. Maidana is a ****ing ****** for thanking an imaginary fool in the sky. Your delusion still persists.
I have no problem shitting on religion and it's evil.... no problem at all, even if it offends lazarus and his nationalist fervor for Amir Khan.
