Rigondeaux, one of the best amateurs of all times. He is campaigning at 122lbs but has said that he can fight 118, 122 and 126 pounds. Rigondeaux's skills, defence, amateur pedigree and power is really scary, if he would fight JuanMa Lopez right now either at 122 or 126lbs, who wins and how ???

I say, no one beats Rigondeaux not even Yuriorkis Gamboa, much less Lopez... :good

Rigo's too good to lose anytime in the next 3-5 years. So I say Rigo by TKO/KO, caused by a quality counterpunch when Lopez makes a mistake (and he would eventually).

Though I'm sure many are gonna argue that "Rigo has only fought bums" and "he's not ready for JuanMa", I completely disagree. I'm sold on Rigo and think he's the future king of the lighter weight divisions. The dude's ring IQ and defense are incredible. I think he would actually KO JuanMan in the later rounds, mostly due to my belief that JuanMa has a shaky chin.

I'm surprised you don't even pick your boy Gamboa to beat Rigo. I don't either but going by your user name I'm surprised you think that.

Yep, for the reason that Guillermo was way better than Yuriorkis ( or any other ) and Yuriorkis was a monster himself but Rigo is a legend !!! :-(

This is a very big possibility. Hope that by the time rigo moves one step north of 122, juanma would still be there. Right now, I think rigo beats cordoba easy while juanma beats war torn rafa.

I want to see how Rigo deals with Cordoba...it will tell a lot where he belongs in pro boxing.
if he doesnt beat cordoba easily ,he doesnt have any business against Juanma.

400 amateur fights with two olympic golds and 3 world amatuer boxing championships and more. This guy is untouchable.

i only see manny Pacquiao as a bigger talent so far... would have been nice seen this 2 trading punches few yrs ago.But now Manny has developed into a much bigger man,and Rigo shouldnt even think of going after him.

would be a close fight like pac-jmm with rigo winning by an SD. rigo would be KD'ed 2-3 times though. :yep
