Lemieux: most powerful puncher in Canadian.

Chose to Represent canada at the olympic games tho. but yea I would not consider lewis a Canadian boxers. real good fighter tho.

Lewis is Canadian he moved here when he was ****en 11 years old. He trained and boxed in Kitchener Ontario. He went to St. Mary's high school in Kitchener. Lennox Lewis is a Canadian fighter.

My Aunt had to wash Lewis's bloody shorts after the Tyson fight, in Kitchener

 

Only, he made a decision and fought under the British flag as a professional athlete.

 

um didn't he compete at the Olympics as a Canadian...yeah thought so.

If Lennox didn't move to Canada he never would have taken up Boxing....Lennox is a Canadian boxer!!! :happy

Obviously he's going to represent Britain as well because he is British, but he is Canadian at heart.

 

Thats why he fought and made his legacy under the british flag? :rofl

He still retained Canadian citizenship, though. Just saying.

Lemieux is indeed a very hard, and surprisingly quick fisted puncher. But I'm hesitant to rate him as one of the most powerful Canadians of all time until he steps up in terms of competition. Especially when one considers that Canada has produced power punchers like Sam Langford, Lou Broullaird, Donny LaLonde (who could crack with the right hand), Matthew Hilton, etc.

I will say this about Lemieux, though...Every time he's been asked to step up, he's done so in style.

 

lol yea right. You can say Lennox isn't Canadian all you want.

But the truth still remains that if Lennox didn't move to canada he wouldn't have been a boxer or wouldn't have been as good a boxer as he was.
