Yeah SSM looked great in his next bout.

SSM was 39, he was to old , Cotto beat him, he looked crap against Mayorga, good win over Margacheato , who just got busted cheating, which must of affected his mind, 18 month lay off. Need I say more?

Pacman's win over Cotto was much better for me. 28 years old, only one loss which is disputed as his oppenent cheated.

It's gotta be close. IMO Cotto was a better opponent then Mosley was at the time. But they were pretty much equally dominant, except Pacquiao knocked Cotto down multiple times, and made the ref stop it.

pretty much even, maybe a small edge to Pac

Also, Pac was never wobbled. Though he was bruised up.

Agreed. I'm shocked at HBO saying that Mosley won. Mosley basically chased Mora around the ring, pawing his jab. The last few rounds I did give to Mosley though.

Yeah, Cotto was just way more competitive.

I've watched and studied Pacquiao-Cotto...it was an incredible win on Pacquiao's part. He broke Cotto's will in only 4 rounds, and impressive feat for someone his size. Most figured Pac would win, but not many people thought he'd straight up kick Cotto's ass like that. I'm almost 100% positive that while PBF would have beaten Cotto, he wouldn't have lumped his face up and cracked his spirit like that.

The size differential was huge -- that's why Cotto was punch drunk at the start. I wouldnt blame him though, I'd be all over a guy half my size from the opening bell.

Some of the people here are entirely clueless. Cotto is nowhere near prime. In fact, he is pretty much shot. Foreman came into the fight with a torn ACL and meniscus. He came into the fight wearing a brace. Cotto will in all likelihood get destroyed in his next 154 outing. He will probably lose to Angulo, Cintron or Williams at this stage.

    Cotto is prime?

Do you know how stupid that sounds? Bookies just love guys that are oblivious to the fight game.

I dont think they were the same level of fighter to be honest, I just think Mosley had deteriorated to the point where he came down to Cotto's level, in his prime I think he would of knocked Cotto out.

They were essentially the same size. You will see a huge difference when Margorito faces off with Paq. There will probably be a six-inch and 15 pound difference.
