I didn't say let the fight drag on just to give yourself some rounds...just said its too bad the guy wasn't good enough to make a fight of it.

I kinda agree...part of me doesn't know why they're making these kinda fights for this guy when it seems obvious he hasn't improved since the naugler fight...(or maybe even since before then)...Some of these guys on your list are a bit too much right now...but ya he should be mixing it with the best right now...I would like to see him go for a title in his 28-29th fight. I wouldn't point to others who've had few fights and gone for titles...you have to remember power punchers like KP and Lemieux will often have more fights when they finally step up because they`ve had fewer rounds.

I'm not impressed with this win. He's fighting a shot to peices jr welter weight ffs. And he was getting hit flush w/ jr's straight left and moved back with it. He even held on once after hector landed it, so i think lemieux is being way too over hyped too soon. Let's see him fight a tough
big punching middle who's not set up to lose first b4 we predict he'll even win a world title yet. I'd personally like to see him i there with a darnell boone type to see where he's at and how he takes a shot.

lemieux looks like he might have potential. he's not flashy, not fast, doesnt throw one power punch at a time, and he hits the body as much as he hits upstairs. would like to see him against an ishe smith or joel julio before he starts getting put up there with the top dawgs. camacho jr isn't a real jmw or mw his best days were at jr welter and even there he didn't even do much. good step up for lemieux hopefully he will fight some name in the future. he can work on his jab and some speed

He's 21 ****ing years old moron. He's trained by Russ Anber, have you ever heard of the name? I believe he knows better than you what's better for his fighter. If you're not happy about his choice of opponents then you can just **** off... I don't believe his priority or his trainer's is your entertainement, you didn't seem to have any problem with Gayweather's cherry picking for the last couple of years, give this kid some slack, fights will come in due time. Stop acting like a drama queen!

Lemiuex cant make 154. He's a middleweight, and in fact I think he'll prob grow into 168 one day.

saul alvarez is 19 and fighting the likes of baldomir, cotto, and N'dou. i.e. tough grizzled veterans that are notoriously hard to look good against. and look what he did against the first two and will more than like;y do the same against the third. i like lemieux as much as anybody, but if we wanna see where he's at he needs to fight someone that can push back.

Alvarez fought Cotto in his 31st fight, Baldomir in his 33rd...

By his 30th fight, Lemieux will have a world title shot.

Some of you guys need to chill out a little... Lemieux is rated #3 in the WBC rankings and will get a title eliminator shot within the next 6 months for sure.

He's fighting again December 3rd to keep him busy. You guys need to understand that they can't always make the fights against all the guys you wish to see him against because of many factors involved.

Some guys want to be paid big bucks to risk getting in the ring with David and the money simply isn't there yet so they can't pay them what they want. Also many of the top guys don't want to risk their ranking and money earning status by risking to fight a young stud that can knock them out with one punch, with either hand at any time !

This is not a case of Lemieux's team only wanting to fight pussies.

So relax a little and you'll soon see him with a top guy because they'll be forced to meet !!
