    Dear Benny_Blanco

Those threads are out of date and voted by ESB members who are no longer with us sadly. This is a more current version.

Sincerely from one Adobo brother to another, Boom_Boom

No problems my Adobo brother. I'll rewatch this fight right now and come back to this thread. Whats funny is that my score is always different each time I watch this fight.

I have not scored it but could have gone either way, I thought that Castillo, just edged it.

The rematch was one of Floyds best wins.

I had Mayweather winning the first 5 rounds.

Castillo then on my card wins 5 out of the next 7.

Had Castillo not been timid early on and gotten accustomed to Mayweather's speed a little earlier, he'd have won that fight.
.....but he got going to late imo, and Mayweather took it on my card 7-5.

Thats the thing about this fight.....if you dont score on paper and jot down every round, you'll likely come out with the impression that Castillo was robbed, as he pretty much had his way past the 6th round.

It was close no doubt, but you have alot of people in forums like this convinced that Castillo got shafted.

    That exactly.
I've scored it 4 times, my results being: 6-5-1 Mayweather, 6-6 draw, 7-5 Mayweather, and 7-4-1 Mayweather. The perfect modern example of a super close fight. Mayweather won the re-match convincingly.

Yet there are still plenty of posters here who will go to their grave claiming JLC wasn't shot when Ricky beat him.
