No Build-Up today guys. Nothing new. Haven't heard anything fro Alexander or Bradley either. Seems like GBP won't be tweeting their ****.
HBO Support Amir Khan's Message of Unity http://boxing.fanhouse.com/2010/10/30/hbo-will-support-amir-khans-message-of-unity/ Good article.
devon alexander said on facebook that the photoshoot is all done so shouldn't be long till the pics find get on the internet. hopefully there was a video camera crew there too.
what are the actual chances that the two winners will fight? this isn't an official tourney is it, it is a mandatory defence and a unification............speaking of which, did devon get stripped for fighting bradley? i hope the winners do square off, but i would have no complaints whatsoever if the winners fought kotelnik/ortiz/judah(if he wins his next fight)
There is a possibility that the winners don't immediately face each other. Which I wouldn't be too bothered about to be honest. As long as they eventually square off by the end of 2011, I'll be happy. In fact, I'd actually prefer that. If Khan does get passed Maidana, it'll give him more time to prepare for the 'final'. The more time he spends with Roach, the more beneficial it'll be for him.
the one thing i am conscious about is the size of khan, he is getting bigger and will soon move up, also bradley will move up soon. as long as they all stay at 140 for another year the fights should all happen :good
I think Ortiz and Bradley will move up very soon. Probably Alexander and Maidana aswell once Khan is done with them
Really? I'm not concerned about that at all. He's only been at the LWW for 15 or so months, and he's never really showed signs of struggling to make it. In all his interviews he's expressed how happy he is campaigning at this weight. I don't see him wanting to move up for another year or so. That's plenty of time for him face Bradley/Alexander at the weight (IF he gets by Maidana). I actually think we'll see a few rematches up at 147 too.
Amir has just said he wants to fight Floyd within 12-15 months! I told everyone he wouldn't fight Floyd extremely soon, that's stupid matchmaking. GBP wouldn't even allow for it. Floyd-Amir will be a superfight at the UK happening in early 2012! Will Khan become the next "Money"?:thumbsup
