The Road Warrior is BACK! The fighter who lost by hometown decision more times than any other active professional jumped for the opportunity to participate in the Super Six and have yet another go for the impossible, just like in 2004 when he knocked Roy Jones out cold and beat Antonio Tarver to become the figher of the year. Johnson is a true Genleman and professional who's yet to seriously decline at age 41. But he's returning to 168lbs for the first time over a decade to face Allan Green, and making weight is not gonna be easy. But who else could pull this off if not the Road Warrior?

How the hell is Johnson going to make 168 at this stage of the game? He came in heavy for his LHW fight with Cloud.

    No!

I can't support GJ going down to 168 at this stage of his career! It's wrong!

And I don't support his decision to join the "Super" "Six".

If he beats Allan Green, it proves little. Who doesn't!?

If le loses to Allan Green, he'll probably blame the weight...

    ...bad move, stupid fight.

Im on the wagon, gotta pull for Glen. If he can make 168 and be 100%, which at 41 is hard to imagine, he can handle himself well againt anyone. He looked a bit pudgy against Cloud, so maybe he can shed the additional few pounds and be ok.

Wasn't he like 169 for the third Woods fight? The guy has a great work ethic so I don't this is impossible. I like him by a close unanimous decision against Green. What else is the guy going to do with his career? Its not like he has many more options.

And how's that a better option? That fight holds little significance today. The Super Six offers a very good payday given the stage Johnson's career at, and if he has enough left in the tank to beat Allan Green, which he should, he's GUARANTEED another payday in the SFs in the biggest tournament in boxing for many many years. And if he loses, he lost on the highest stage vs. the next generation, and walks away with a fat paycheck. At 41 there's no time to waste, the opportunity came and Johnson took it like the old school fighter he is.
