Fighters who are better fighters cause of they did not fight, not necessarily because of who they did fight. I have always felt this is applicable to Roy Jones, Jones is astronomically overrated cause of how stellar he looked against lower echelon fighters, or good fighters who were slightly past their best.

Completely agree with the Roy Jones nomination and i'm a fan of his

I think it was Tarver that said this about Jones " Its easy to look fast and great when you're a rabbit going up against a bunch of turtles." i dont like Tarver but he was right on the money in this instance.

That same statement can be applied to alot of people. Speed does not like fighting speed.

It wasnt just about speed it was about the inadequate opposition that Jones was facing at the time.

    Headgiver we meet again.

These fighters havent been champions long enough to be discussed in this toipic, bradley has fought extremely good competition so far and ward will no doubt follow suit as he is in the supersix.

    :hi:

I think Maybe Aaron Pryor qualifies for this...
When you become a Boxrec detective and look at his resume
"Alexis" is the ONLY real BIG name that stands out in an era full of great fighter's.
