i'll avatar bet that margarito goes beyond ten, or wins. i think he'll lose by decision, but it'll be tough for pacquiao.

Why is it so hard to believe that Khan could possibly get the best of Manny in training..
(Even if he did or not)

He has everything Pac has including YOUTH on his side.

You lot are forgetting that it's sparring, not a fight. There are no points involed and there is no winner. It's practice, to practice attacking and defence skills.

Do you honestly think Khan could withstand one of PAC's big punches in 10z gloves without headguard? If a Prescott jab put him on ***** st imagine what the punch landed on hatton would have done to Khan?

Pac's fragile china chin would be exposed should he ever meet Prescott then?

Difference there, is that Oscar showed a lack of reflexes, ability to pull the trigger against Forbes, only people overlooked it as they got so embroiled in why the fight should not be happening due to the weight disparity, however in this fight, Pac has looked impressive in recent fights, is most probably at the peak of his powers, Oscar was a past prime fighter who's reflexes were leaving him.

The production company of the very first season of 24/7 was client of ours and professional friends. I personally also have worked on other HBO docs.

That being said, you do not know ****!

First off, HBO is famously known among producers and independent doc makers to be very hands off. This is why they attract a lot of doc makers and well known directors like Martin Scorsese. If they ever send EP notes to the producers and editorial team, it is more general and technical. Along the lines of, "needs to be a bit quicker". They don't send things like "Character A looks like an idiot, can we fix this?".

Second off, the promotion company (GBP or TR - whoever) do not have any contact with the editorial team. They have contact with the production team but that is more about scheduling and interviews. They NEVER see the episode UNTIL it actually airs. Neither side see have any say about editorial. Final cut is always with the EP of the production company (HBO EP does too but they rarely exercise it). Not even Arum can see or say what is going on during the editorial processes. A junior editor has more effect on the cutting than Arum (since he/she is dealing with the process daily and interacts with the editor and producers).

This is the reason that even Floyd just blacks out the camera crew during sparring. He asks them to leave during sessions. Why? He has control here, but not in the editing room.

Third the production company gets paid the same amount if 1 person buys the PPV or 1 million. No difference. What matters is the story.

What you can legitimately argue is that many things have been left out. It is possible that Pac was actually schooling Khan in some instances. But it is also possible that Manny was getting beat worst.

They've sparred so many times that I don't think Pac can dominate Khan anymore in every sparring session. Come fight time, Pac will be focused and raring to go. I'm not worried one bit.

I did not say anything about Manny is training well or not. All I said it countering the idea that there is some conspiracy to make Manny look good or not to sell the fight.

............And reading your posts made me think of the excerpt where we see Mayweather having his hands dipped and back rubbed - all signs of wear and tear that would surely catch up with him when he fought Hatton, right? :good

HBO are doing a good job or promoting the fight and Manny / Roach are playing their parts very well.

he aint doing 10 rounds before he goes with khan..maybe after..but not before...that would just be risking injury.

welll seeing pac get hit with clean hard shots...2 in a row at times is a bit more then having your back rubbed and your hands treated.

There was all of about eight or nine seconds of Khan putting a smackdown on Manny. You'd easily get that much footage in just four rounds even if Manny was winning every round clearly.

24/7's sole purpose is to sell PPVs. Remember that.
