It's the same premise, plus Mayweather didn't allow his sparring to be filmed.

Again, you are talking about things you don't know.

PBF's brittle hand is well known. I am pretty sure you know that he has already broke it during about.

I am not even know what to say about "playing their parts".

So you think an extra 300k of PPVs is more important to Pac and Roach than looking bad in a match they are considered a heavy favorite?

Yes, their objective is to make as much money as possible and mislead the public into thinking that this is a toss em fight which undeniably leads to more ppvs bein g sold

I disagree. Since I have been part of that process, I have 100% confidence in what I am saying. That is direct proof for me.

They manipulate the story as much as ESPN, Showtime, CBS, ABC, NBC, etc do theirs with the NFL. Being cynical does not make it true.

    Guys its S-P-A-R-R-I-N-G....

They are not in there to just fight and to look good for onlookers, this is the testing stages where they check **** out through trial and error, etc.

For all we know, Khan may be utilizing 90% of his ability and pac 60% because he is TRYING NEW **** OUT... you can liken it to a fighting game at an arcade where you spend the first round 'feeling' your opponent out and/or testing stuff before you go into full blown **** mode...

Erm, psst, over here, you crimson, yeah you, I was actually agreeing with your post......well to an extent. Do I think that extra PPV buys are important - yes, I do. I would argue that it's HBO have played upon parts of build up so it appears as if Margarito has a better chance than he does. We'e previously heard negative feedback about Pac's preperations only for him to look electric on the night. Do I think Roach and Manny play on this - yes, I do.

Umm, also, I'm not doubting Mayweather didn't have hand trouble - it's well documented. Was it made a big point in the Hatton build up - yes, it was.

Not to mention that Hoya got peppered by Forbes prior to said fight. Take a look at the post Clottey/Paq interviews. The five or six clean punches that Clottey landed throughout the fight caused more damage than all of Paq's.

If Margo is 100 percent(Cotto) people are making a big mistake using the Hoya and Clottey fights as measuring barometers.

That being said, unless Paq was knocked down or ko'd in camp the sparring session with Khan really don't mean anything to a gambler like myself.

Khan got the best of Pac in all the sparring that was shown on 24/7. They didnt show a single good clip of pac the entire episode. There is no way that Pac didnt have any good moments in a whole week of filming. They are just setting the tone for the gimmick they are using this fight

Perhaps the clips of Khan beating on Pacquiao are for Khan's benefit. Maidana will be terrified if he buys into it; he would be facing a dude who looks sharper than arguably the best boxer on the planet. Pac-man doesn't need clips of him looking good in sparring to intimidate Margarito. His record does all the work. Amir Khan does.

I think it's a combination of marketing the fight as a genuine contest to maximise PPV subscriptions, Pac being slightly distracted by out-of-the-ring commitments, Khan looking sharp and an attempt by Freddy Roach to intimidate Marcos Maidana.

I don't really buy into it. Come fight night, Pac will be sharp as ever.

  11. If Pacquiao-Khan happened right now, I'd pick Khan.

  12. If Pacquiao-Khan happened right now, I'd pick Khan to die in the ring.

    Fixed.

Khan would get murdered. I don't think many would dispute that.

Don't judge the sparring session between Pac and Khan based on a few seconds of video footage. It's already been reported than Khan had his good days and Pac had his good days.

They're just trying to Make this fight look competitive but it won't be, margacheato is a slow, limited plodder with average power, Pac is gonna tee-off on him and get a stoppage.
