Margarito joking about the cement block - A sign of a genuine *******?

Pac said what we were all thinking. So what, he didn't watch him wrapping his hands or never did before? Regardless, Pacquiao doesn't have any previous that would make you sit there and go 'arsehole'.

Margarito does. I find it very hard to believe he never used them before or that he never knew. And then he tries to take the **** out of the whole situation. The fact that he's suffered from the situation by losing his license in Nevada doesn't seem to mean anything to him either, which makes him look like more of a ****, he's probably thinking 'it was worth it'.

Pacquiao took the **** out of a cheating **** and his the sheer audacity of him trying to pretend he never knew. Margarito took the **** out of a situation where he tried to take loaded gloves into the ring against a prizefighter and probably had done so against others in past.

It is funny but maybe he should have not let it be filmed.Margo was not banned for life.I thought at the start that he should have been but it seems if you look a little deeper the so called loaded gloves were not as serious as first thought.It is wrong but its not the first time fighters have been pulled for this.

 

It all depends if he was aware that he had loaded gloves for the Mosley fight.

If he was aware, then he's an *******.

If he honestly wasn't aware--and believes--that the hardened plaster thing was present only in his fight with Mosley, then he's not an *******.

There are only 1 or 2 people that probably know the truth. We'll never know for sure. Personally, I would say that 95% chance he knew and was aware of his loaded gloves, 5% that he didn't.

 

Let's say those same wraps were used against Cotto...how would you feel if he joked about it then?

 

Then why is he giving him the fight? You can't have it both ways where you're castigating and mocking him while at the same time giving him a massive payday and shot at redemption.

That's why I have a hard time taking this seriously. If you're taking it at face value, there's massive hypocrisy on both sides. If you take the view that they're doing what they can to hype up the fight (including getting people all heated-up about it), it makes a lot more sense, and isn't worth getting wound-up over.

We're not concerned with Pacquiao and his belief that Margarito is guilty, yet still giving him a chance. I personally think Margo doesn't deserve it. He shouldn't even be allowed to box again. Hence the reason why I didn't like his cement block joke.

 

They already stated on 24/7 that this bout is all about the money. Outside of Mayweather...Margarito's situation would draw in the most money.
