He wasn't talking **** really though, was he? He was making light of the situation and the fact that Margarito is still to this day pretending that he never knew.

I just see both of them just playing mind games for boost in confidence and increase in focus and it shouldnt be made into a big deal when the fight is getting close.

I think he was misunderstood. His intention was to mock those who constantly put him in the negative light. How many times have we heard "Margacheato" being tossed around as if it's continuous punishment when he's served his time for his illegal activity? In recent times Roach has been yapping excessively about his suspicions on the issue. What's that guy's problem anyway? He criticizes Pac for not being focused on training yet he's really busy talking **** about Margo's illegal wraps.

Marg is probably fed up with the fact that he hears about the incident so much that he's chosen to make light of the situation. I'm not saying what happened before the Mosley fight is justifiable. But the joking incident on 24/7 should be taken with a grain of salt because: (1) Boxing is a cutting edge sport and fighters have a leeway when it comes to heckling (2) Team Pac and HBO deserves a slap on the wrist for harping on the subject almost obsessively (3) Brandon Rios has been a bigger ***** than Margo yet everyone just shrugs it off and calls it normal trash talking as they should.

Margo's joke is his roundabout way of telling people they need to move on. Yes, he's cheated. No, the backlash shouldn't be poured on his head non stop. At some point it should come to a halt. And as mentioned Margo's playful ways was aimed at Pac. If Shane and Miguel are offended by it then it's their job to come forward and speak up. We shouldn't play the role of overly sensitive parents especially when these guys can fight their own battles.

 

And ask them what, why Margarito "doesn't" watch his hands being wrapped? Or, how does Margarito know his trainer didn't use them against Cotto?

 

In 24/7 he states something along the lines that his trainer told him that the harened wrap was from another boxer's glove. The wrap was used to protect the other fighter's hand. And it accidently got mixed up with his gloves. It is a very improbable story.

But if Margarito is telling the truth, and he believes his trainer's story, then it would follow that he would also believe that he did not have loaded gloves for his other fights. Because how likely would it be that hardened gauze would accidently be put into his gloves on more than that one "accidental" occasion.
