Margarito Loaded Handwraps More Than Once?

I have also questioned that, particularly the Cotto fight. I mean we've seen Cotto cut before aswell, but that fight and his face during/after was something else.

 

I'm sure he did. Why would he do it for Mosley after coming off a huge stoppage win against undefeated top welterweight Cotto. I don't believe him that he didn't know about it and that it only happened once.

 

The problem when comparing those two bouts, is that the punishment he took against Margarito probably caused lasting damage...sensitive skin around the eyes, easy swelling, etc. So even if it seemed as if Pacquiao caused more damage, it was probably a result of Margarito.

 

He KO'd Cintron in the same amount of rounds as the first fight so I doubt he wrapped

He didnt wrap vs Cotto the gloves came off and didnt they shake hands after the fight

they cheated cause he didnt train vs moseley

 

Ok Cintron survived 1 round more in the next fight yea alright ill give u that.

but a pro boxer who has been hit a couple of times. His facial expression looks like he got hit with bricks



now margarito, i would assume he hit cotto alot less than pacman.
cotto looked like he was bashed in the head with a studded steel mace or stomped in the face with soccer cleets..

 

Freddy Roach, like anyone else who makes these assertions, has no evidence to support it. It's pure speculation.

 

After the Williams loss. He was destroying opponents (Johnson, Cintron, Cotto).

Seems to me that his power shot right up at that point. If I had to guess that would be the Johnson fight.

 

it was strange to see the slow starter who lost to Williams because he gave away the early rounds blow out a capable fighter in one round. He promised a fast start but for Margo a 1 round destruction is rare.

However to me this is debunked cause he took out Cintron in the same amound of rounds as their first encounter pre Williams

 

Ok first off i'm one of those who believes that Margo knew about it and had done it before, I don't have the time for a lengthy post but its pretty clear to me what logic indicates.

As others have said why load your gloves after the biggest win of your career? He was widely expected to beat Mosley so it makes no sense to me why he would do that. The damage to Cotto's face was also pretty horrific, Margo was landing a fair amount of short uppercuts etc but then again so was Mosley, Cotto's face was unmarked at the end of that bout against the recognised hardest puncher in the divison but was badly cut up against an accumulation puncher in Margarito.

The fact that the wraps were supplied by the Nevada commision means nothing as it was a KNUCKLEPAD that was loaded not the wraps themselves. However Margarito took his gloves off immediately after winning the fight, this is a strange one and takes some explaining. The evidence though has never really been put out into the open, its all just hear say and bits and pieces.

 

I said the same thing as Roach before Margs got caught. Against Williams, he kept his gloves opened and his power was non-existent. I never suspected loaded wraps, but there was a difference. There is a difference in his punches in the Williams fight.
