Even with Gauze you will get the same effect when you leave them to dry, for example I used two rolls of gauze on each hand one to form the pad when you take the wraps off I set aside the pad for the next work out, over night they dry and the pad is stiff, exactly like a spunge when it drys out.

The reason he did not get charges filed on him is becuase there was no solid proof that it was plaster paris, it was against the rules as they state you must use fresh gauze.

The commisson in california has been under pressure for doing a lousy job so they did everything they could to clean up their image once this surfaced.

And where the **** is this "BLOCK" with "Cake stuff" that Nazim was talking about I didnt see anything close to a ****ing block and that cake stuff never made it to the lab if it ever exsisted.

Seriously, is that all you've got?

Are you one of these 'plaster-of-paris, bricks, concrete, cement, Margacheato' people who can't back up your claims?

    Exactly.

All he was charged with in the end was use of illegal wraps because they weren't fresh/new.

My Lord. Somebody stop the bull**** bus. No doubt some of the same people questioned Tito's wraps with Hopkins. What about Odl's twisted packing tape? He cheated. Whether he knew or did not know is irrelevant.

Who's blood is that on the top left?

Time to move along. He's after redemption and will have NASA in the dressing room watching him wrap his hands.

Imbruman you dip****. You explain it. It's probably Cotto's blood. I do not know and neither do you. Fact of the matter is he cheated and was banned. Resto took it out and he added. Same conclusion. Now if you want to play name calling I'm not interested. Facts are facts and their are no false ones.

If it has little or no effect, then why use it?

i think it just spread the weight/impact around your fist, including areas in between fingers and not just on your knucles, thus making you punch harder without hurting your hands.

I would think the pain of being hit with a padded glove would take a lot of a person's will to win maybe. The pain would be intense.

Ftr I am taking Margarito to win this fight. Hbo will probably dedicate 15 minutes of the broadcast to his hand wraps. Obama will probably be an observer lol.
