He does not deserve to be back on tv.... 2 fights now he has been so biased towards me during my fight.... Yesterday i would hit shannan with 5 punches and he will say nothing then when shannan lands a jab its like whhhoooaaaaa nice left hand from shannan..... i do not know what it is?? maybe because he was training alongside nader when i fought him..... im going to make a complaint to foxtel about the remark he made towards me yesterday calling me a coconut..... GET OFF U IDIOT, YOUR FINISHED!!!
Briggsy was good as always yesterday to me.:good I think you should worry less about who's commentating & more about your opponents. Really mate you should have knocked out the WAYYY over the hill Shannan Taylor. Taylor was dropped by friggin Andreas Seran & was stopped by Les Sherrington.

i didn't see it. after his last boxing performance he should never be on tv again. watch green vs mundine. barry (i want to grope anthony) michael would make virtually zero comment when green would land a handful of good shots, but then mundine would land a pitiful jab and barry michael would give every superlative in the english language.
I agree. Im not a Jnr T fan and I was a Green and Briggs fan until THAT fight. I dont think Briggs has a place as a commentator after being involved in duping the public.
i wouldnt worry what commentators say, overseas there much worse and way more biased, its just the way it is with boxing, your getting abit of paper attention anyway so dont let things bother you so much... on another note who to now for you? taylor done, hamden done, maybe sherro?
Fought like a guy who probably should retire against Wood (in The Contender). He looked as frustrated getting made to look ordinary by the brawling Wood, as we were watching it. Then followed up with a stoppage loss to Bolling.
Brigg's integrity and credibility are so shot to pieces...he commited a serious wrong and duped Aussie boxing as a whole....he should be banished from the sport..period.
I picked up on the coconut comment when it happened but as Raff said it wasn't said in a bad way. That said, i was surprised Paul was back on the commentary team, not wanting to get in a way of a man trying to earn a dollar, but just think it's too close to the Green farce for him to be back......... unless he's prepared to tell us more information. Not onlt that but a finding or ruling still not handed down from the boxing commission which i find extraordinary especially if he's found guilty on any level. P.S I thought Jnr deserved more praise about his performance during the fight then he got from all the commentators.
get rid of briggs for sure, anything he says now just makes me laugh at him. i think barry was having a few sly jabs at him last night if anyone noticed. and i agree with junior, the coconut comment was off the mark.
