When people deminish Floyd's Welterweight record is it a sign of how good he is?

actually shane was a huuuuge underdog going in vs Mayweather. People already were saying this and that b4 the fight. Besides, its mayweather, who wants to give this douche credit anyways?

If Void thought he was that good he would have signed to fight Pac a long time ago instead for running and hiding.

Its not a sign of anything its just what it is.

His resume at welter is average at best its more about who he didnt fought than who he fought, had he fought and beat Margo and Cotto instead of going to vacation nobody would question his welterweight resume but thats not what happened.

Completely schooled the guy who beat Margaritos ass. Beat DLH who was far superior. Would have completely schooled him. B level fighter at best. No where close to a Corrales or Castillo.

B level fighter. Just recently won a real title over the worst champ in the 154 weight class. Got chased out of the ring by Ndou, dropped 4 rounds to Malignaggi, rocked by numerous fighters, high water mark a close decision over Mosley, a guy Mayweather schooled.

Overrated Top Rank hype jobs. Nothing more.

I have him just outside my top 10.
He dose however have the skills and resume. (Even if he ducked all the guys you say he did) to warant a top 10 ranking.

  9. i thought marquez might win too but in the end mayweather was right: "a good little man, will never beat a great big man" i dont know if he's truly great. the size proved to be too much to overcome for marquez. or maybe mayweather is just too damn good.

They are **** cause Floyd didnt fought them if he did your groupie ass would be here singing praises for them and acting like they were some kind of unbeatable force that only Floyd had the guts to face.

    You're pathetic.

I dont sing praise over anyone unless they've proven themselves great. DLH and Mosley proved themselves great.

Cotto and Margarito just keep getting their asses beat lol. Never see fighters look so bad in so many fights yet are constantly overrated.

Its good to see you got a new hope in floyd hater Pacquiao though. Who'll I'll have to admit is actually a real threat to Mayweather unlike your hero brick gloves and the San Juan Bleeder.

That is completely besides the point. Nevertheless, I'm not so sure.

What kind of convoluted logic will arrive at the conclusion that because Floyd's record at welterweight is being criticized, it is a sign of his excellence?

I guess it is thru similar thinking that Floyd didn't avoid his biggest threats, according to his choir boys...singing his hossanahs. :rofl

None of these fighters were "threats" just like your dumb chubby ass thought Mosley was a "threat" and he wasnt. Actually when you have an inclination a fighter is a threat I actually feel great about Mayweathers chances. :good
