I wonder if it had anything to do with the weight? It seems like Kelly needs to quit screwing around and just say he's a Super middle. I bet he can't make 160 (or 164) anymore.
Atleast from what I have heard, he was already close to 164, and his weight was fine. I don't think Kelly would fake an injury, some fighters would but he wouldn't to get out of knocking out Vera in front of big audience.
The latest report says the suspect cartilage damage to his left side. They're not saying how it happened. Seems odd since I've never seen Pavlik hurt by a body shot.
