I cannot see any outcome from the Haye-Harrison fight which does not involve Audley flat on his back. And the contractual wranglings between Team Haye and the Klitschkos probably hasn't yet run its course, not while there remains guys like Adamek and Povetkin to be toppled before David and the Klits realize they are the only ones left. I think the Michael Grant fight will have told Adamek that he simply does not possess the physical dimensions needed to defeat a Klitschko. Therefore, Haye vs Adamek is the next logical big heavyweight fight. Adamek will view it as his big chance to win a title. Haye will view it as his chance to show the Klits that he can make more money and get more attention than them (as Adamek is a top fighter with great marketability). If this fight does indeed happen in 2011, who do you back to win? How do you think the fight will go? Why would Adamek fight Haye in a voluntary defense with a shitty slave contract from Haye with tons of options when Adamek can simply get the WBO #1 position and become a mandatory challenger for Wlad for a much better payday with no options & rematch clauses?
Because I believe Adamek will have realized in the Grant fight that he can't beat someone the size of Klitschko who is as good as Klitschko. I believe that Adamek thinks he would beat David Haye.
And what good is it then if he beats Haye? He will have to give Haye/Sauerland like 3-4 options and 2 rematch clauses to Haye. So why would Adamek bother to fight Haye in a voluntary defense even if he thinks he can win? Doesn't make any sense financially considering he has a mandatory title shot lined up for him.
He would. UD by grinding Haye down. The coward knows it and won't take this fight. His hit-and-run tactics will be completely irrelevant vs Adamek.
HAYE IS levels above Adamek in skills and ability and add to that that he is a murderous puncher and Adamek has been wobbled recently by other HW's I expect HAYE TO destroy him.
Haye knocks Adamek out inside 3 rounds because he is too fast for Adamek and has serious punch power. Dont know about *****/slave contracts I think The Klits are the masters when it comes to that.
Very close to call. I would say that if Haye doesnt score a KO, Adamek would outpoint him (SD or MD) - he is simply a better boxer and much smarter in the ring. And I dont think that Haye would hurt Adamek as much that the fight gets stopped. However if the fights goes 12 and Haye scores 2-3 knockdowns during the fight, he would keep the belt.
