I have some doubts about how viable plaster would be for loading a glove.

Boxing Illustrated did some tests back in 1964 using Cleavland Williams to try out some wraps with plaster added on a heavy bag. The plaster quickly disintegrated and punching thereafter became extremely painfull.

Let me break it down.

Margarito isn't denying the handwraps was harmful.
You wont be denying having sex with a 12yr old.

Margarito pleas he didnt know the pads were there.
You plead you didnt know she was 12.

And lets face it, not knowing a girl is minor is a lot more feasible than not knowing there's a rock in your fist. Dont know about you but I dont often asks girls for ID before trying to sleep with them, I can however tell if theres some hard pad being inserted into my wraps. The above analogy BOTH depicts the offender not denying the crime, but instead claiming they didnt realise they were causing a crime. So instead of trying to make out like there was no illegal pads, Margo has accepted there was illegal pads, just that he did not know. Just as in my example, instead of denying having sex with a minor, the person has accepted that they had sex with that minor (a crime) but did not realise she was a minor.

Fair enough, but then you are acknowledging that the pads were illegal and would give Margo an unfair advantage and is effectively cheating regardless if he know or not. As I said, margo isnt disputing whether the pads were illegal or not, just that he didn't know they were there.
