What 5 things would you change about boxing?

I've always thought of this as something that could be very cool...

The problem is... you'd have to train for 2 different styles and what if your partner gets KO'd in the first?

1. have to defend title atleast every 6 months or lose title

2. only have 2 titles eg wba, wbc, only because that way there is more chance
for super fights where division are unified, and when someone leaves division they can then leave 2 seperate belts

3. only have to defend against mandatory every other fight, so like once against anyone, then against mandatory, but wba or wbc, have to give their blessing on the fight ( so you dont fight a ***** who aint a mandatory or a eligable opponent

4. have to fight every other opponent on their home soil or at a neutral area

5. if super fights are not being made, boxing commision get involved to ensure they do happen instead of promoters ****ing everything up

Hahaha. Well, if your partner gets KO'd, then you have to fight alone. Imagine a match between Tyson-Lewis vs Klitschko-Klitschko?!

 

01. One sanctioning body.
02. One belt, one champion, no interim/super/regular/diamond/emertius champions.
03. One set of universal rankings.
04. More boxing on terrestrial TV/non-PPV.
05. Defenses have to be made against the best possible opponent inthe rankings. So if the #1 is unavailable to fight, go to the #2 and so on. This is the case even for voluntary defences. Must defend the belt every 6 months at least.

And I would add an "Open" weight class, with no weight restrictions as a place for these sideshow and catch weight fights. Both guys could come in at their best weight instead of making a cutoff.

number 5 might be problematic, you run the risk of a fight happening 4 or 5 times, possibly with the same result each time.

 

- $500,000 penalty each month if you go on vacation.

- Be put in the ring with the top 3 hard hitting boxers and tied to a chair in the middle of the ring, and have those 3 boxers swing at you on the face with brass knuckles on if you were to ever hit a woman.

- Recieve "****** of The Year" award every time you duck a challenge.
