If Pac gets KO'd by Margo how does that effect his ATG Ranking?

In all honesty this should should be a cakewalk for Pacquaio and an easy victory. I still think he's going to destroy Margarito but with all the controversy surrounding his camp there's a tiny little question mark floating around. I still say Pac by KO/TKO in 6 rounds or less because margarito's slower than my grandma and if Mosley's speed ****ed him up then surely Pac's far superior speed will take out the cheating biatch for once and for all. Buuut what if Margacheato does the impossible and takes it to Manny and ends up KO'ing him in a slugfest? Will the impact of losing to such a slow ass primitive fighter be enough to significantly change the way history will look at Pacman?

Right now I've got Manny at 26 of all time but a loss to Margo would probably bump him down to the 40's somewhere on my list unless he were to avenge the loss and have a couple significant wins after that.

No idea. A lot of people will say, Pac bit more than he can chew.

Really depends what margo does after. If margo gets KO by Khan, then yes it will afect PAC's ranking.

it sure as hell wouldn't help it.

then again it depends how the fight unfolds not just the result.

good point... a close loss or a KO loss followed by a KO/TKO win in a rematch would certainly nullify it.

I don't think it hurts him as much as if he'd gone down and lost to Bradley or whomever. He's taking a big risk and will be at a disadvantage in weight by as much as 15lbs possibly.

2yrs ago margo vs manny would have been crazy.and one would think many had a death wish.for me if manny loses then oh well.that just means he does have a limit, but if manny boxes he will be ok.if he throws them hands in the air to say whats up and wants to trade with margo then i would not do that if i where him.but im not him so who knows.

In green: No, it really shouldn't.

In blue: Margo has neutralized speed before and Mosley's brute strength and ability to clinch him which Pac was never into is just as responsible as his speed for the victory, if not more so. Pac isn't a clincher and I guarantee you he does not have the brute strength to pull off the Mosley gameplan. He's going to need every bit of his excellent footwork.

Lastly, it's not really going to affect his ATG standing because everybody gets theirs if they keep taking on challenges. When comparing Calzaghe to Pacquiao, are you looking at Pac's current three losses even a little bit? I'm not.

While I think it is unlikely to happen it would do significant damage to his ratting.
