Say the Jones that won a comfortable decision against Ruiz, versus the Adamek that beat Arreola...

    Who takes it?

if roy jones dont get a flashy Knockout then adamek gets the decision.

as long as roy jones dont make adamek lose his head.

Kinda which way I'm leaning... Jones by a close UD, though not easily by any means.

What you meant to say if Adamek does not put RJJ out for two minutes straight, Roy would get the decision.

After the last ko loss i dont think Roy will ever win a fight against any high caliber fighter. He loses, tries to climb back but ends losing badly.

But what about the Jones that fought Ruiz?, before his embarassing KO losses?

    Same outcome?

Good match up. I actually just played this one out recently on Fight Night Round 4. I was Adamek. It was on GOAT level.
And it went exactly like i thought it would. Roy was getting the best of me the first 4 rounds. His speed and reach was killing me. I was trying to counter him but he was too damn fast.
I was basically settling for countering with jabs to the face and when possible i would do some body work which started paying dividends in the 8-9 rounds. I knocked him down in the 8th then the 9th and i put him out in the 10th.

The speed was good and all but Adamek just had the chin and the heart to keep coming after taking the punishment. Roy didnt.

Thats exactly how i feel it would play out.

Yes. Adamek is no Ruiz. Jones was not big enough or powerful enough to seriously hurt Adamek. Specially a cruiserweight Adamek.
