Dirrell is more plausible then with 3 months symptom free.

The only good thing about Bute doesn't being in the S6 was that it give him the opportunity to fight on HBO!

Really stupid move. As someone else said, as soon as tournament is over, the winner will get signed by HBO and Bute won't be able to fight him because he's signed a contract to be on Showtime!:patsch

If Bute fought good opponents, HBO would show his fights!:deal

And HBO would definitely show Bute against the winner of the tournament!:yep

HBO is bigger than Showtime, so why would Bute want to be with Showtime if he could be with HBO?

    Easy...

Bute KNOWS HBO will not show his next three fights, because they'll be against crap opponents, so he ties himself to the Showtime mast to guarantee that he will at least have his fights shown on a big channel in the USA...:-:)verysad:-:)verysad:-(

Great move. A way to keep a possible Bute-Dirrell fight off HBO. The black balling has begun

Bédard called Showtime the American League (as in Hockey AHL, pretty much an insult) a few months back.

Dirrell with brain issues should not fight for a long time, unless he is completly faking the whole thing.

3 fights is exactly when the super six will finish ...stop with the bs that the winner will sight with HBO and he can't fight him. Cuz Froch has 3 fights Abraham semi and final
Abraham the same and Ward the same Bika semis and final.

You still didn't get that he's faking . He's just taking some time off to relax.

Winner will want to fight Bute and won't care about what network broadcasts it.

...except that the guys in the tournament are one fight ahead! They're fighting the first fight NOW, whereas Bute fights his next fight in March/April!

Showtime aren't stupid. They are hoping to sign Bute up for the final, if they can. Except that the big money for the final will be on HBO... so Bute loses out money-wise too...
