pac is older when you consider "ring age". and of course pac's style will make him much older. probably trains more extensively and is pushing himself more by fighting at weights that is not natural to him.

bull****, floyd is as fast as ever against mosley. of course not as fast as he was at 130 but it's just normal when you are fighting at a higher weight. floyd being out of his prime now is just a myth. floyd is wasting his prime years taking vacations and not fighting the best oppositions.

It's not like Pacquiao can't counter the move. Pac doesn't need Mayweather so he won't have a problem turning down a fight with Floyd. Besides, I don't think Roach will let Pac fight if he knows Manny has lost a step. Roach won't take a fight unless he knows he has a slight advantage. Floyd would end up having to choose Khan, Pwill, or Sergio....or just retire again. I'm sure the majority of fans predict the latter will happen.

 

Agreed. Age isn't the factor here, either. While Floyd is older, Pac has "more mileage" - meaning he's been in more battles.

Floyd will wait until Pac looks ripe for the picking and then "suddenly" have interest in making the fight happening. Floyd always looks for the low hanging fruit.

Names me a war Mayweather has ever been in? There are none....now count the number of wars Manny's had....he's been through a lot of hard fights....so his age isnt a factor....the wars he's had are what makes the diffrence....

I've said this before and i'll say it again.....Floyds only going to fight Pacquiao when he feels he's shot...or has slowed down/declined.....think back to Sugar Ray Leonard and Hagler.....Ray didnt want anything to do with Hagler (while Hagler was in his prime)....he'd "retired" and when he saw that Hagler had declined....he took the fight....if you watch the documentry about Haglers life....Ray says it himself....Floyds not doing anything original....he just dont want to fight someone that he thinks may take his 0 away. Simple really.

 

I think this is what he's doing as well. Same **** SRL did to Hagler. I just hope there will be a rematch if Floyd and Pac fight because I think it will come down to a split decision like the Hagler vs. SRL fight.

 

If Pac destroys Margo, and even knocks him out (which I doubt will happen) Floyd will stay far away from him. If Pac can knock out a granite chin fighter at junior middle, there's just no way Floyd's going to fight PAc.
