Corrales is a skillfull, fast fighter right? but Barrera, Marquez, Morales, no....

You know who's also a skillful, fast fighter? The slick Sasakul. Go watch some footage.

When you think about it, Pac is held to such a higher standard than others its kind of ridiculous. I guess that's just another sign of his superior ability. The better you are, the more people expect out of you and therefore diminish what you have done. They do it without even acknowledging it.

For example, people say Oscar was drained, Cotto was damaged, Hatton was ****, Morales was shot, Clottey was a fix, Barrera was past it, etc etc etc, but then in the same breath they have no problem saying that they are not attacking Pac's career. The hypocrisy is crazy.

That's one thing about Floyd is, people like to say he only fights small fighters, but it's untrue. FLoyd has fought so many different types of fighters and different styles and sizes and strengths and weaknesses. Pacquiao's opposition is pretty much the same

I know Pacquiao should not have won Fighter of the Decade, that's for sure:
No one knew who the hell he was until 2006.
In the P4P top 2 for less than half the time a certain other someone was for the decade.

And a few months ago I'd never say, but being that it is commonplace to look to degrade someone's achievements, I will:
He fights nothing but flat footed and slow Mexicans.
Fights faded great fighters who've had wars behind them and loads of mileage.
Recently during his P4P reign, fights at catch-weights and fight night weights never reported.
Looks beatable in wins, as he often takes much punishment.

Like winning a title in as many weight classes as Sugar Ray Leonard, Hector Camacho, Roberto Duran and James Toney. Or what about having the record for highest ppv buys or compubox record for landing the highest percentage of punches landed on his opponents compared to punches landed on himself. Or winning a world title in only 24 months of being a pro. What about winning a bronze medal in the olympics and being robbed of the silver. How about being the first person since Roy Jones Jr. to go a whole round without his opponent landing a punch on him

IMO...Marquez is the MOST Skillful fighter he has faced. Morales is a close second. But are they the Most Skillful, Athletic fighters he could have fought...at the time?

Tyson has the record for PPV buys. Floyd shares the highest non heavyweight sales because he was fighting Oscar.

I am not taking anything away from Barrera, Morales or Marquez. But what separates them from Pacquiao...is they Tested themselves versus fighters with MORE SKILL, MORE SPEED AND MORE ATHLETICISM then they had...and on more than one occasion.

who gives a **** about PPV sales none of that makes a fighter unbeatable.

either way, after Nov 13th Pac will surely be the active fighter with the most PPV sales to his name in the entire sport..

No, dude. Manny won't be catching Mayweather. Really. But. If PPV sales aren't that important, that won't matter.

yea I guess not but will Mayweather still be active? but the bottom like I said from the beginning PPV sales don't make a fighter unbeatable, that's what's wrong with boxing fans criteria for greatness these days. They think it does.

All you have to do is get ko'd before and after you win your first title, get knocked down and get lucky by receiving a long count, lose a decision to a 'past it' great and rematch him two other times a full year after the loss, and ignore two other champs in your division.

Fight a man who hasn't fought at the weight you want to meet him at in which that fighter hasn't weighed in at that weight in 8 years, and fight two catch weight fights...and you will become an instant h.o.f/g.o.a.t/atg/ legend lol...
