If I remember correctly, I had Calzaghe by two or three rounds. And I watched (suffered through) that fight at least three times, just to be certain. And that's with Hopkins winning the 10th due to his hollywood ***** routine, pretending to be low-blowed. That was the biggest ***** move of his career.

I remember scoring it live and I didn't give Hopkins any rounds after the 3rd. Calzaghe clearly won the fight, in America, against an American, promoted by his opponent's promoter, with an American referee and American judges

I am extremely proud to be a *******. You seem equally proud to be a poster of no value who provides nothing to this forum except single-sentence posts containing insults. We all of us have the odd such conflict, but that seems to be all you are capable of. You don't seem to have any boxing knowledge at all, bit of a troll in fact. Good on you :good

I had Hopkins by about 2 rounds.

It was a close fight but most rounds were controlled by Bernard with Calzaghe just being busy with no substance.

All you are doing by trying to assert your non-bias approach is instead asserting the fact that you can't score a fight properly.

I can't believe people are watching this crap fight again, and to the op, Calzaghe clearly won round 7.

If Cortez was not the ref, hopkins would not have gotten away with that stuff.

Bear in mind that Calzaghe wasn't once warned for punching with the inside of the glove.

I don't bother to score the fight. I see it much like the way I saw Anderson Silva/Demian Maia. Doesn't need a scorecard, just needs to be written off. Calzaghe clearly won, but it was a dreadful fight.

Outworked. Out fought and out thought.

One or two flurries and a few 'connects' over twelve rounds does not make you a winner. It makes you a weiner.

And of course lets not forget he's a racist too.

    Calzaghe won now stop crying.

OP, there's no way anyone could score round 2 for Calzaghe. Watch it again - he doesn't land any punches and gets tagged the whole round. Seriously, he lands absolutely nothing. You are clearly biased, you're not fooling anybody.

Did you even watch the fight or it's build up?

Hopkins had to resort to racial remarks to try to screw Calzaghe and pump himself up; he failed. Calzaghe was too strong mentally to fall for such cheap ass tactics.

Hopkins was intimdated and scared - not Calzaghe. Pre, during and post fight and especially the weigh in - Joe didn't give a **** to him it was a game but Hopkins because of his pride mentally folded and you can tell that from his agressive manner.

Hopkins mentally folded and resorted to acting for fouls and points deductiuons during the fight too.

Calzaghe adapted throughout the fight but Hopkins did not. That's a mental trait. The shot that put Joe down was a down the pipe straight counter which never landed a second time. Barnard never had a backup plan for plan A whereas Joe learnt and adapted on the fly.

And you still think Hopkins out thought Joe Calzaghe? Explain how please. :nut
