I agree. De Gale has said he is getting 90 grand for the Smith fight. So realistically neither of them are going to get over £200K for figihting Groves (£200K is obviously very generous anyway!)

It won't happen til at least one of them is World Champ.

 

It doesn't even have to get as far was purse bids. Groves could just say he doesn't want to be considered and toddle off down the Euro route.

 

If it goes to purse bids it should happen. Fwank will put up a lot of money, Groves would get a fair split and he wouldn't have to give away any options.

Well I can't say much to that reasoned response, can I?

 

A lot of these threads are just wish fulfilment, people put together scenarios where they convince themselves the things they want to happen simply have to happen,(ie. Mayweather fighting at Wembley). Most of the time its just not the case.
