Yeah. I thought you knew that from me bumping the thread on him just now and were cracking a joke on that. He's obviously nowhere near Miguel but he's way closer than Bobby is to Manny (or than Matthew Hatton was to Ricky). He's a good solid B-level guy when he's in with someone his own size.
Here you go RM (and anybody else who missed it): [yt]kVUTIstF6W0[/yt] [yt]-1azHf8zGys[/yt] [yt]2jpOgiC7LfU[/yt] It was a bad stoppage, but Matthyse had sonned him for three and a half rounds and was killing him to the body. Vivian was well on his way to being KTFO legit - of that there is no doubt. He was throwing back but every time they traded Harris was in trouble, and in that 4th round he clinched every time Matthyse got going. He also reacted really badly to that last right hand (where his neck went limp and his head slumped down for a moment) - so you can kind of see at least where the ref was coming from even if it was premature. Here's that last win, where he looked like a beast: [yt]EwBn4_5cmR0[/yt] Both hands carry TNT. He's also a fairly disciplined boxer for a knockout artist. Oh and to make clear from earlier - it's not that I think LMM is a future p4p king or anything...I just have a very low opinion of his older brother Walter. Lucas is actually a good fighter; Walter was kind of a tomato can with a pretty padded record obscuring the label.
That's crazy I just saw the thread. I saw the title while browsing so that's why his name came up when I thought of less talented brothers but I didn't go in the thread nor did i know that you were the TS at the time. It's all good he fights with a lot of heart.
Kermit Cintron ended Walter Matthau's career. Hopefully his brother is much younger and livelier than Walter. This content is protected
He's kind of in the same situation WDM was heading into the Cintron fight - taking his first big step up to a world-class opponent (unless you count a shot Harris). The difference is, most people just looked at Walter's record and KO ratio and assumed he'd be game without having seen him. Lucas has actually been generating buzz from his appearances on Telefutura and HBO Plus, so the Latino fans and insiders already know he's a real challenge for Judah - based on more than just guesswork and a glance at Boxrec.
Jokes aside, I honestly had no idea Matthyse was a live body in this fight, and from the clips you posted, he may very well have Zab doing the Judah-dance.
You can bet vcash here: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8110538 If you're interested in laying real money on this - those odds are based on the actual ones you can find online. Hopefully they roll out with some lines on the Over/Under 9.5 rounds - I'm paying close attention to that...
atsch You're right. Williams obviously was his 1st step up, yeah. PWill wrecked him before anybody. :yep
Shiiit Lucas was killing Vivian to the body. Thanks for the clips. This is what I come to this site for!
