    I figured...:yep

From you calling Matthysse a chump and saying he'll starched just like that it's pretty clear you haven't checked him out.

I like Zab, too - but you should be worried for him in this match-up (I am).

Rooting for someone is one thing. You've got to realize when your boy is in a dangerous spot, though. This one could catch you by surprise if you're sleeping on Matthysse.

there was definitely something dodgy about the harris stoppage i mean take a look at matthyse's right eye its swollen shut and the left eye was starting to mark up i expect he was getting worried the doctor might stop the fight

I see this as a 50/50 fight and if I had to put money on this fight I would go with Mathysse. Should be a very good fight

It's a difficuilt fight for both guys,
-Could possibly be the end of Judah's career if he loses, which would be a shame cause i like watching him.
-However if Matthysse gets beat then it could stop him from being seen as a decent contender for any future fights.

I don't really know who i'm picking because i think both of them can be dangerous if they want to be. Like IB said, if it goes past the first few rounds then it could be a potential FOTY candidate.

If Zab doesn't get this guy out in the first 3-4 rounds he's going to lose and probably by TKO.

Anyone tipping Matthyise after the Harris performance needs their head testing :patsch

First of all, it was a good performance even if the referee screwed up.

Second, he's fought since then.

If Zab doesn't get him out of there early he could have some problems but I expect Zab to come in ready. He knows he's runing out of chances and a loss in this fight pretty much ends his career. I'm taking Zab by TKO.

The thing is, despite Zab's rep as being really strong in the first 3-4 rounds (or, if you're less of a fan of his, being a "front-runner" although that's a bit of a derogatory term) Lucas himself can and does start fast as well. Zab's best chance is to blast him out early, but going for it could actually land him in hot water. In those first four rounds, I can see a right hand counter spoiling his comeback plans just as easily as a left uppercut could pop Matthysse's cherry.

After that it really becomes a mystery. Judah's not traditionally great as fights bear on, but for all we know he's really beefed up his stamina in the gym after identifying this longtime weakness (we haven't really seen him go deep in a while). We also don't know how Matthysse can cope with a sustained volume of quick power punching into the late rounds.

Zab ices this guy. Yes he looks live but Zab is coming back.

And that Clip was superb. I love a good old fashioned Punisher paul beatdown:lol:

I don't expect Zab to "starch" him but its hard for me to imagine Zab losing this fight. I can picture him losing a lot of fights because of his anti-commitment, but this seems to be a fight where he can easily outbox the slow, plodding, robotic Argentinian

I don't know, man. He found a way to lose to an even slower, more plodding, and more robotic Argentinian in Baldomir, and Matthysse punches about a million times harder than Tata.

that's a very good point, IB. I'm a small fan of Zab, so that may play a part, but I really think he's taking this fight seriously and is motivated (we all know he took Baldo lightly, but that's no excuse), and I think he's going to outpoint him. we shall see though
