In a completely hypothetical scenario, say in about a years time he decides to come out of retirement and gets in great shape, as good as possible for his age. Basically pulls a Foreman.

How far would he get in the current Heavyweight division?

    Top 10?

    Top 5?

Would he beat Haye or Wlad?

What about a rematch with Vitali?

How would he do against top contenders like Solis and Adamek?

He'd do better than Tarver's going to do.

Yeah there is no doubt he won't, but just say for a minute he did, how far do you guys see him getting?

For instance what would be his first fight back?, no doubt he would have a load of ring rust...

Agree with you. :good If it did happen, who would be first? I think there would be to much time away for him to be a challenge. Could he do it if he trained .....I think yes. Lewis is to far past his prime though to even attemp this.

    I think he's too old.
But If he wanted to, his first fight could be against one of the guys holding his belts because he's one of them emeritus deals.

He'd beat them all apart from Wlad.

All these bums like Haye, Povetkin and Boytsov would claim they aren't ready and run off into hiding.

he would do as well as vitali did IMO.

the difference is, vitali had unfinished business and is hungry and felt he had more to prove.

lewis has secured his place in history, he has beaten the best, and for a long time he was the best. would coming back and fighting the likes of arreola and chambers really enhance his career? no, not when he cleared out the likes of tyson, holyfield, briggs, morrison, tua, ruddock and everyone else in between.

so my answer is this, he could do enough to get back to the top. but he wouldnt. we all saw an unmotivated lewis in the first rahman fight, and he got outfought and knocked out. a comeback would end the same way IMO.

If Lewis fought on the would only be the K Bros to avoid (which he could using the 'i beat him already' argument). Lewis - Haye would be massive in the UK.

To be honest I think he'd still be the number 1. No disrespect to Haye and the Klitschkos but Lewis is that good.
