Just assume that Maidana knocks Khan out, where would Khan go from there? I personally think his career would be over. Thoughts guys?

  2. His shattered chin becomes an ultra limited edition 1078 piece jigsaw puzzle.

So losing twice means your career is over??

Margaritos career should have been over 8 years ago along with Pacs.

If he wins via knock out /stopage/points by grand performance..then No more khan threads!
If Khan wins in style etc then make one sticky thread with all the similar threads..

It would be the kinda of thing that would be hard to come back from, some fighters are never the same after getting brutally stopped once, let alone twice.

Also, once the cat is let out the bag, everyone tries to fight in a seek and destroy manner, looking to test your chin from the get go, although you might say that has already happened.

It will prove that Khan can't handle punchers. That is the point i'm trying to make. What will GBP do..........Keep feeding him light punchers for the rest of his career?

Moves up to 147. Fights decent fighters with zero KO power. His people and fans claim how far hes come since being KO'd and that the move up to 147 has helped his punch resistance.

Depends in what fashion the KO came.

Anyway don't know why his career would be over, thats a complete over-reaction and it's what's wrong with boxing. There would either be a rematch or he would continue to fight the other fighters in the division. It wouldn't mean he can't beat anyone else. Maidana is a big puncher so sh*t happens.

Too young, to much investment made, to good and determined a kid for his career to be over.

I'm still unsure about Khan. He's clearly got skills, footwork, speed and decent power etc. But if your chin is dodgy then it's dodgy. Anyone will know that if they can hit a little bit they can stop him. If he beats Maidana then he might persuade some people that he can handle a puncher - be it by not getting hit or by proving he can take a few. Hell even if he gets put down a few times and comes back to win that would be something. But if he gets knocked out it will be evident to all he just plain CAN'T fight bangers and win.
