Alright Fella's Not been in gym for soooo Long....a mate asked me to go with him to the world famous Fitzroy Lodge Gym in SE London. I took him up on his offer today and worked out for 1 & 1/2 hours. Felt really good to be back in gym. I felt good in the skipping, the bag work out i felt really sloppy technique wise. Over reaching and no snap in my shots and i think my problem is when i'm not sharp i get pissed off and shake head and start to slack a little. I went onto speed and floor to ceiling balls and my speed is there just lack power in arms....then went into ring with my pal and worked on some touch sparring. He said i move real well and feint nicely. My jab felt snappy and i think i could of really pushed through the gears. Just need to work on my bag work...used to love it. Mandanda's Money in Da Bank Workout #1 (3 year Layoff) 6x3 Skipping 6x3 On Bags (Some rounds more intense then others) 2x3 Speedball 6X3 Touch Sparring (Good movement and snappy shots, defensively need to sharpen up) Finished off with some reps of 8 on weights and kettle bells and machines. Plenty sweat, no blood or tears...yet Btw if your in London (South) then hit the Fitzroy. Nice set up and friendly but also has that real gym feel you don't get with the more classier type venues. Hopefully i will keep going and up the workrate in time. :good
Looks like a trip to doctors for me...not anything to do with session but i been having on going knee problems. All to do with playing in goal for my 5 a side team and i damaged both and it's a ongoing pain when i bend them now. I will try sneak a circuit session in tonight with my junior football team...they played ****ing **** on Saturday so i'm grilling them lazy ****ers and will use it to put some money in the bank!!!
Looking to get back fit first and foremost, felt in pretty decent shape in the session on tuesday. Once i feel in decent shape i think i will take an offer i got a while back and go and go pro. It's something i'm itching to do and i'm not a bad boxer.
Probs would get a few stone off and try super feather/featherweight! I haven't trained for over a week, just been playing football to keep sharp, should head back to gym this week!
So got my Gym membership and headed down to Leisure Centre last week Thursday 15 Mins on Running Machine 5 Mins on Bike 10 Mins on some leg work machine 10 Mins on Cross Trainer 10 Mins on Rowing Machine 5 Mins of Free Weights Then Went Today 10 Mins on Bike 15 Mins on Running Machine 10 Mins on Cross Trainer 5 Mins Rowing Machine 10 Mins of Weights ( Free Weights/ Dumbells)
Sadly Mandanda is not around on ESB anymore but he's been doing a lot of runs in E-Pen as well as a few boxing sessions. November 2013 Mandanda is released!.
